Can’t bash that 6s on stock prop and esc. That ESC is good for 4s and not much more. Mine popped caps and batteries, now I dual cool, prop down, and put a 150a in. Much better

That’s pretty cool 😎! I have a proboat impulse 31v3 with an upgraded octura prop and pulled 68 mph! I’ve watched a few of your videos now and haven’t subscribed but this just change my mind about it! Love all your projects! Great job! Very cool stuff for sure. Just purchased a redcat wendigo and 3s is just crazy to handle!

I wish I could do things like this with my father-in-law! All mine wants to do is be a house slave to my overbearing MIL. He might get away for a golf game once in a while if she lets him. He has never even taken his grandsons out by himself or even with me. They're now 11 and 13 and he's too old to really do much. Sad. Enjoy your time with your SIL, it's great that you're involved and hanging out with him. Lucky men! If/When you have grandkids, you're going to be the granddad with all the toys! LOL

I like the Spartan as well, but can’t believe it doesn’t have self-righting. That’s kinda necessary with these boats unless you bring a dingy in your truck every time you run

I got the duel pick up rudder with bigger hoses I ended up using the hoses not the rudder as the exit pipes on the top of the duel rudder was smaller that the standard one I did put the bigger exit port that came with the rudder kit from RC boat bitz thou I also go the bigger turning fines and bigger trim tabs from them to and I have ripped out one of the trim tabs on last run out want the prop next and another trim tab to lol

Hopefully someone with a lot of wisdom on lipos, what is the danger zone for temps on a battery? I've always tried to keep them under 100 while running. I've seen 110 or so, but not sure if that's harming them. The bit I've read/heard they perform better warm, but I'm sure there's a limit lol. Thanks!

They do work better warm. I’m not an expert but I feel 120 is about as hot as you would want one. 150 is a bit too close to nuclear reaction to me. LoL

Which would you recommend me getting, the sonicwake 36 or the UL-19, I’ve owned RC boats in the past so idk, UL-19 looks so much cooler so I’m tempted

Sonic Wake will handle pretty much ANY water condition but the UK19 doesn't like choppy water and on the UL 19, You have to GUN the throttle on take off or the nose will just go under the water and start to submarine
