This video starts off our journey at taking a look at vellum inflation as voted on by my patrons. Before we can jump into setting up the inflation we need to create our container. This video covers how to procedurally modelling an abstract container for our vellum simulation.

Amazing, thank you very much! I love modeling in Houdini. Very happy about every modeling tutorial.

Wouldn't it be wise to delete all the empty groups in the clean node? Or do they come back into play further on down the line?

Hi. I dont know why but I dont have the node called Transform from centroid, just the transform itself. is it because I am using the apprectice Houdini?

I'm not sure but the transform from centroid is just the regular transform node with a preset. You can recreate it by going to the pivot transform setting and setting the pivot translate to centroid(0, D_X) in the x value of the pivot translate. You also need to put that same expression in the y and z values but you change the D_X to D_Y and D_Z respectively

nice tutorial man , so quadremesher need a License to use it correct ? if so i think its price is just too much for one function if i understand it well

It does require a license but the license is perpetual or was when I got my license. The results of the remesh operation are far better than anything else I have used as far as automatic retopology tools go. It has saved me countless hours over the years. It is personal opinion though whether you think it's worth it and Houdini does have its own remesh node so you don't need it if you are ok with the results that the remesh node offers.
