トラックの廃車工程に興味があったので観させていただきました。ガスを抜く、様々なところのネジを外したり配線をペンチで切ったり…一連の作業がとても丁寧に行われていた。役目を終えたトラックや自家用車も、こんなふうに丁寧に廃車されれば喜ぶだろう、とふと思った。

Really efficient process, very impressive. I liked how precise the claw operator was at picking out the wiring. As a mechanic in a part of USA that gets a lot of rust, I wish I could use a torch on customer vehicles this way sometimes.

We have a scrap yard where I live they only take small vehicles no delivery truck. I like how the machine separates the metal from the copper that is impressive what will be made with it 😃✌️❤️

New vehicles are cheap in Japan and the taxes on old ones get higher, so you rarely see old or rusty vehicles.

The truck looked like it was in good condition and I am surprised it was scrapped instead of repaired. I believe this might be due to the Asian's aversion to buying used things, it is ok to buy something new and keep it until it is old but not ok to buy something used.

Dang, this truck still looks good. In my SEA country, this would still be seen driven on the road today. But I guess Japan is quite strict on keeping older vehicles on the road.

because they are interested in moving forward, they hold onto traditions etc rather than actual products. They are huge consumers, The power countries could learn alot from them.

@@MrSupermugenActually Japan holds on to traditions and older technology many Japanese people had still used regular non smart phone until the mid 2010s while the rest of the world was taken over by smart phones and the Japanese government still uses fax machines and floppy discs.

@@jackjackson8335 Это вам Япония сказала? :) Ни кто не запрещает, кроме своих, которые легли под китай, теперь внутри всё будет китайское, вместе с населением :))) Да и какой смысл? Чистого немца или японца нового, не сможет приобрести на свои крохи житель эрефистана, и на помощь придет кнр со своим автопромом. Япония развития, на зарплату раз в десять лет можно машину поменять. В странах третьего мира, всю жизнь придется копить, поэтому многие не понимают, зачем утилизировать старые машины :))

That looked like a good truck. Why scrap it, perhaps needed some repairs,but overall it had years of use left. That's not very environmentally friendly. Better to keep vehicles repaired than building new ones.

Planned obsolescence. This is the way this perverted global system works. And very same people behind this game talk about 'sustainability'. To me, 'sustainable' means 'long lasting'. To them it means ever shorter cycles of production and destruction. A wise old friend of mine said "It's not about the energy transition, it's about the economy of the energy transition."

Ces camions sont parfois encore en bon état et serait mieux recyclés en les vendant peu cher en Inde par exemple ou ils recyclent des camions dans des états épouvantables.

Es Japón. Allá hay producción en masa de camiones y cuando terminan su vida útil los desguazan para reciclar. Aquí en Costa Rica se venden de segunda mano a clientes particulares para darles un segundo uso.
