That saw is turning out some serious RPMs. If you didn't cut firewood what would you do with all that energy. You remind me of my grandfather. I lived with him a few years. I would get home after an 8 hour work day and start splitting wood. He would get home after a 10 hour day, and work circles around me.

+John Capps Thank you John for a spell I owned a log skidder and my heart has always been with working in the woods

your a maniac! I love my jonsered. try the Stihl sharpener that does the rakers at the same time. easy and great to take in the field. so easy I touch up my chain every other fill up if not every fill up while I take a breather. keep it up!

Dude...slow down and sharp your chain and file the depth gauge, the saw is laboring! If you're concerned about your safety, why not wear eye and ear protection? Where is your kevlar?
@cabotbluegillАй бұрын
was not concerned about my safty never have been i cam from an era when there were no chain brakes and no cut pants we all lived just fine yup shes a bit dull but when short of time we get by .

@@cabotbluegill I'm up there too and I know at my age I'd never recover from an injury. Anyway, that is a hell of a saw, I've had one for many years. Good luck and stay safe.

Sharpen up and give the rakers one stroke. You should never have to use the dogs, the chain will self feed its self when its filed right. I made my living with a chainsaw, felling and bucking up timber.
@cabotbluegill6 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the tip but i will leave the rakers in hard wood alone. Seen to many guys with wicked scars that filed rakers They make new saws every day there is only one of me
@ticker5116 жыл бұрын
@@cabotbluegill I know what you mean, some guys don't have any common sense. Run the rakers at .025, and use a 3/16 file instead of a 7/32. Your saw will cut smooth and fast, the saw will be happy and so will you. Be Safe
@goulet776 жыл бұрын
Nice chainsaw to bad you don't know how to use it! Sharpen that thing and let the saw do the work. My god
