First of all the big broom reminds me of a Menorah. Secondly at time 04:20 the pliers being used are aircraft safety wire pliers. Too cool seeing some of the tools I use at work being shown in a Japanese craft video.

No brasil é feita uma vassoura quase igual a essa, so o nome é vassoura de piassava, e pra fazer ela você tem que caça subir e pega um tipo de palmeira que so existe no norte do brasil em um estado especifico no meio da mata e de la arranca a piassava! No final fica bem parecido com essa vassoura japonesa

...the craftmanship on this broom is astronomical and unbelievable, it's amazing how Japanese craftsman have taken such simple devices and elevated them to high pieces of art. These brooms should be next to a Picasso 😆 Well, maybe not a Picasso, but definitely next to an art piece in a lesser known art museum, like in Tyler or Kilgore Texas, or at one of their colleges. This broom would have fit perfectly in the original Wizard of Oz, as one of the props.

이거 일본 여행가서 비싼데도 불구하고 작은 사이즈 30 만원 정도에 사왔습니다. 저런 빗자루 만드는 곳이 몇군데 있더군요. 그런데, 쓰다보니 털빠지고 그냥 그랬습니다. 나중에 알리에서 거의 똑같은 제품 5천원에 구매했는데,결론은 둘다 품질차이가 크게 없다는 것이 였습니다. 일본에는 장인이란게 존재하지 않는것 같습니다. 장모님은 있는것 같습니다.

見惚れてしまいます。やはりこういう天然素材を使用した工芸品は見直されてほしいと思います。細部に細心の注意が払われ丁寧に仕上がっていく様子はもっと日本中に広まってほしいです。1本7万円が高い!のではなくその価値を理解してもらいたいと思います。

I am confused as I clicked on something that said "handmade brush" and the first 4 processes shown so far have all been with modern electric tools. Them you skip the hand(?) painting step which is probably a beautiful process???
