thanks man! soon Ill definitely be able to give a comparison! I really liked the paxton when it was on my last car.
@joshreynolds7295 жыл бұрын
Scene a lot of mustangs and the ones that win frequently either have a turbo set up or a paxton, procharger is by far the slowest way to get boost tq is lost and coyotes already suck on tq as they are a smaller displacement 4 valve design v8s so either utilize the high revs with abundant exaust gasses spinning a turbo or gain tq where its needed down low from a dig gaining 60ft. Turbo is by far the greats way of making power on a trans brake/ 2 step and on a roll your unstoppable and anything after a Quarter mile isnt gonna keep up being supercharged and definently not procharged.

What about tyres/wheelspin issues. Which is going to be more fun and drivable with normal street tyres? I'm worried it will be harder to drive the whipple fast on the street as it will just never hook up properly.

Hi, I just came across this video and am in between Magnuson and procharger. What is the difference in mileage between these two cars with one having the whipple, and the other being pro charged? Thanks!
@R0cketRed3 жыл бұрын
You should talk about price. Compare fun to dollar spent, I feel like I can get a pro charger for roughly 7k all in and the vmp will be about 11k all in.

I also noticed in your video you were talking about getting some type of paint job on your hood. I just wanted to mention something that I had on my ZR-1 was an airbrush painting on the inside of the hood which was basically a mirror reflection of the engine. The guy I bought it from won several car shows with it. Again, I know they are completely different vehicles, but if you can contact me and answer my questions and send the list of Mods I’d appreciate it. Thanks Much

Does Procharger have their kit lined out where it doesnt require moddinf to install the bypass valve ect yet? Which grips best on the street from a dig?
@stevehornik84523 жыл бұрын
You are going to get much better grip with a procharger from a dig. Less low end torque. Super chargers are really fun as long as you don’t mind replacing tires ever 3 months or upgrading to some serious drag tires to gain traction.

Foster mod ran into the cabin? Does it get to loud in cabin? Have 18 Whipple and was debating on it for the sound. But would like to improve inside sound as well as outside.
@NemesisDigitalMedia5 жыл бұрын
it gets really loud in the upper RPM ranges when youre really into it. Normal driving you get very slight hissing, air noises, which are cool too but not overbearing. There are three different stages of sound mod you can do I believe. And yep its ran into the cabin.

which one has the least amount of load and parasitic loss to the engine and which one has the least amount of heat soak for runs after runs?
@stevenp31764 жыл бұрын
Tom L A centrifugal will have less parasitic loss and generally run cooler consistently. Me personally I’ve always had a much easier time consistently launching a centrifugal car. The PD blowers power hit further down low makes the engine feel larger if that makes sense. Simply power every where.

I have few questions. The Procharger kit looks smaller overall, do you know how much weight each kit adds to the car? On the Whipple car does it feel like the car is much more top heavy when taking corners? Can you feel the lower end torque when pulling out of corners? Recently got to drive my friends 07 GT500. He only has a pulley and tune, 500whp. I have a stock 2011 Mustang GT 5.0L w/3.73 and Brembos. When taking backroads and corner carving one thing I noticed is the massive torque he has down low. He can gain 10-15 mph from apex to corner exit with less than a third throttle input from just 2000rpm. It is so much fun taking his car through the corners because I can just gently cruise up to it and then on exit roll into the throttle. However the downside I'm noticing is at full throttle you loose traction on corner exit so you really have to roll into it. His also only revs to 6k RPM so at low speed corners you can never ever get to WOT as you will either 1. Run out of RPM before you reach WOT when rolling into it, or 2. Punch it and send it side ways from the massive torque. However on my car I can punch it from about 3000 rpm on corner exit and not loose traction. But when I start to roll onto the throttle from the apex to corner exit I just don't have the torque to slingshot my car out like his. I have to keep my RPMs up to 4-5k just to do that. His car you can be very lazy and hold a higher gear. It doesn't even look like or sound like he is driving the car hard at all. He's always like 2000-3500 rpm and thats all he needs to get good cornering speeds. (We don't really haul ass inbetween corners).
@dakotahaywood57634 жыл бұрын
Obviously I’m not George, but don’t worry about the weight of the actual kit, that isn’t an issue. All GT500s feel nose heavy because they have the bigger displacement V8, especially the earlier ones. Of course it adds some weight, but nothing that you’ll actually feel. As far as losing control of the car, it depends. If you want to be able to punch it and not lose control, that probably means you should build a lower horsepower, kind of track oriented car. If you want big power, losing control/learning how to control the car, and accepting that you just can’t do stuff like that is a buy in you have to accept.
@bigogtt49055 жыл бұрын
What mixer ratio did you use to get a certain octane for your car to be able to make in mid 700 wheel? I have a 18 whipple s550 and was curious because I am thinking about running boostane to make 700+ wheel horsepower. I know every car is different but, I am hoping that my car can produce similar numbers hopefully. My goal is to be making around 750 wheel. How do you how much to mix to get your desired octane?
