I personally recommend it just for peace of mind purposes. One day you may not be able to pay for DistroKid whether you pass away or if there happens to be an issue with your back account when one of your payments is due. Yes, it's an extra expense, but at least you'll know for sure your music will always be available.

Distrokid does not work with UMA companies (the largest music services in Russia), and this is considered the entire Russian audience.you can't use Russian letters to name tracks on Distrokid... This is generally stupid shit, discrimination against the Russian audience, which is much more active and more than other European countries. I do not advise anyone to Distrokid, you just lose a huge part of people.

Here's my question if you can answer. As producers making beats, should you tag the beats you upload to streaming sites to prevent it from being stolen, whether its ur own producer tag or a generic one like "purchase your track" and 2nd question, if a beat you made gets sold, do u have to take down your instrumental if you had previously upload it?
