He played em down greatly with slick words and sound bytes , a perfect example of this is when sherm the worm shot after him and chased P him off his OWN block , (a SURE sign that you are not respected at all) because an act like that would have to be sanctioned first!! his words were that his friends had to really really push it and force him to run away (because if they didn’t he would have sat there and intentionally taken the bullets ???) ...just say the dude started shooting so you ran my dude !! AND Sherm ONLY happened to start shooting AFTER he was way gone around the corner lol , if you from the skreets This doesn’t ring right at all !

No disrespect to the dead at all , but you gotta be kidding me right? if you really from the skreets you will be able to identify that there is some absolute fronting and heavily biased narrative, you just gotta read (listen) between the lines Eg the beef with Nore actually CONFIRMED that nore was about that shootout life that he always said he was , nore got to bussin Both times they confronted him , yet with all the fantastic “ I WAS just about to THIS and IF the cops weren’t there I was JUST ABOUT TO DO THAT , and I bought THIS big gun and collected THAT burner in the car engine HOWEVER there is not a single instance P can speak of when he ACTUALLY pressed on that trigger!? AND you JUST KNOW if there was he would have glorified it at the first opportunity to do so ! Eg when he mentions the cops having to give him back the clips he even finds it necessary to mention that they were “fully loaded with black talons” Lolol Where as when NORE got roughed up ? HE came back with a INTRATECH on that REAL war report shit! Right or wrong??!! Ps with all those fantastic guns P had absolutely NO bullets for sherm the worm, even after he shot after him and chased him off the block (let’s be CLEAR as that is what it boils down to!) but P SUPER thuggin in the Keith Murray situation who didn’t violate him even half as much as Sherm and Lake n’em ?!?

Listening to this book. Brings back memories and my jaw is dropping. 1st I grew up in Jamaica st Albans on 173st between merrick n linden Blvd also going to Bernice Johnson school bc my aunt went there my mom's went there and my aunt went to school of performing arts and also played in the original movie fame. And she used to take me 2 school with her hung out n Washington Sq park wit all the gays and dance performers being free and happy. And now I'm older and my grandfather was a Mason I saw Ben Vereen, Alex Haley, etc. Bernice Johnson was an Eastern star so I saw her alot at dinner parties. So yeah hnic she labeled herself and they were definitely living the bougie upscale lifestyle. Shit I lived in a Tudor mansion 2 living rooms 2 kitchens backyard and grass yeah my grandfather brought sod so I grass stayed ultra green. I had to walk across the Blvd to get to 40 projects, Baisley, Rochdale, Bricktown, 150 etc..

Dam good stories and story telling. The only thing that gets to me about the book is everything he does, says, every move he makes, every situation he’s in, every beef or drama, he comes out on top or gets the better of whatever situation it is and doesn’t come out corny or soft or anything like that. Everybody messes up and gets caught lacking or is corny once in a while. No one if perfect and always comes out of the situation on top. That’s one thing that I didn’t like about the book. It makes his crew and even his partner havoc look weak/soft in every situation between them cuz P makes his moves/situation come out better for him in the end
