For the one shot tip. If you click the flex icon next to the follow tempo button on the sampler. It will play the one shot at the same speed at any note or octave. It will still sound kind of weird but it’s just a tip.

FL Studio has as logic calls it "scale quantize" as well. In FL Studio it's called "snap to scale"

I love your videos, I had this exact thought about learning C minor and transpose last week when I saw your video! Two questions though: does this work with guitar and does this work with major(like relative key transposing)? Keep up the good work u legend!

the nice thing about guitar is you can 'cheat' a bit by using a capo, if you learn all the chord shapes and stuff on the open fretboard, you can essentially just move the capo up and down, play the same shapes and patterns just starting on a higher pitch and move your scale around that way, the 'real' way to play is to play barre chords but for just recording loops you can for sure cheat a bit with the capo

Hey buddy, great work. I struggle all the time with sound of my beats. Hope this video helps a bit. They always sound like some old adventure game soundtrack xD Hopefully i'll improve. Do you give any private lessons? Like a teamviewer session or something. Also, would be very nice if u made a bit of tutorials on how you actually make a beat. No cuts or something, when you also talk about shortcuts you using, and generally showing you workflow. There is a lot of videos like this but all of them are in FL studio. Chords, Scales and music theory in general might be the most complected field in terms of half and bluntly wrong knowledge and wording and mixed up concepts students as well as teachers use. Minor/Major are only two out of MANY scales. They are not the 'main' ones. Its just two. Randomly choosen. Neither of them scales is 'easier' or 'harder'. That concept does not apply to scales. They might be better or worse suited for the mood you aim for. But thats a different thing. Chords and their notes are NOT limited by any number whatsoever. Its not a group of 'three' notes. Its a group of 'several' notes. Again with 3 note chords not playing a differently important role than any other chord. Those things may sound irrelevant to you but as these minor inaccuracies are scattered throughout the entire theory and moreso the people trying to teach it they add up huge. Its mostly things people who learned to play instruments when they was kids dont even conciously notice. For example apparently no musician has an issue with the fact that the notation of notes C# vs Db is seemingly randomly picked by the person writing about it, with it mostly being irrelevant but apparently not always. Whenever I encounter such, I'm getting the urge to create some math test, which will confuse them musician in the same way.
