@@Producelikeapro, yes Warren. Bauhaus is still one of my all time favourites. Daniel and David were not only great on bass and guitar. When they had to sing on "Burning from the inside", it took quite some time to recognise, that Peter Murphy missed almost all of the recording, because he was ill. Although Peter Murphy is one the greatest male singers alive, even if I do not like all of his later work. Speaking of 80's heroes. Is there a chance, that you maybe are going to interview Alan Wilder, when you're in Britain again?

I don't know the details either nor the math, but I vaguely can remember that basically, the Fourier theory says that if you oscillate a sinewave, or let's say you draw a sinewave on paper, and you superimpose all the harmonics/octaves on that fundamental sinewave, you'll eventually end up with a square wave. That means, at least in theory, that if you oscillate a square wave, you can create any possible sound by decomposing harmonics. Cool video! I really admire this man and not only because he's dutch. : )

Wow! Many thanks for one of the best studio tour and interview in a long time. It is always a pleasure listening to you both. You are a great inspiration. And I had a great music gear time travel too. I think I am going to replay and share this one a few times :-) Thank you!

That was a really, really good interview. I used to have a Roland system 700 modular synth - 6 modules and keyboard. Both of you gents..........- the reason that the same model Marshall amps' different sound referring to the "flavour" of the the character, is the result of the individual output transformer characteristic sound. As an electronics design eng/ guitar amp tech for almost 50 years, that's my experiential ranting/ wisdom/ experience...hahaha!

Really enjoyed the tour of the 70’s and 80’s synths... Still have my first synth I bought new, an Alpha Juno 2... recall our keyboard player buying a S10 new... used the ‘hit’ sound to death:) Remember walking around the music show at Olympia, London in the 80’s, checking out some of this gear when new... such happy memories - Great vid. Love your Produce Like A Pro channel.... heaps of really useful info. Thank you for posting all that you do. Mark
