The boys (aged 1997-2001) actually self-produced and choreographed Hellevator themselves. The show isn't elimination like Produce 101 but more so the concept of JYP vs. Stray Kids where they work as a group to meet JYP's expectations for debut. However, JYP has said that if a member is falling behind, they will be eliminated (in which all 9 boys replied "no way, we'll debut as 9 together"). On the show, they will be performing original song and choreo instead of covers of seniors which will showcase their talents and skills.

Thanks for this info cause I want them to debut together too this alone was enough to make me stan them I like them a lot I heard there are five rappers in this group as well and for kpop most groups only have two max five rappers at the level they are at is really saying something there is a lot they can do together if you think in terms of subunits either with rappers paired up with vocalist or rappers doing something together or just the whole group I'm really curious what they will sound like in the future and the type of songs they can bring not to mention that they all can dance I love the choreography in this video and they made that themselves there is so much talent in this group I don't want anyone to get eliminated it would be crying shame if anyone got cut because this is really good the best debut of the year if this was not for the show and actual debut like the guy said they would be the monster rookies of 2017 the group of that everyone will considered for rookie of the year award at mama easy everything about them is on point I even love the name stray kids done in graffiti like that it gives you this impression like these are a bunch of kids that got left on the way side that didn't get picked up by anyone or that no one thinks can be successful or aren't good enough for what ever reasons and they are alone and struggling but they band together in brother hood and working hard despite the hardships to reach their dreams together it has this kind of feeling to me when you think of Strays you think of something that's been abandoned whether they be animals or people you also think that there's like this element where something thats Stray is also desperate to survive and continue living whatever it has to do its gonna do to make it and it won't give up easily it might even attack you if you get in its way I don't know if anyone else thinks like me or has this impression of them just from their name alone it feels like they fought really hard to get this far so I hope they can debut well as a whole group

Just because 7 For 7 wasn’t promoted as much as the other albums doesn’t mean JYPE neglected GOT7, there are probably many more factors as to why it wasn’t promoted enough. GOT7 is very busy this time of year with their upcoming Japan tour and promotions there. In fact, you saying JYPE spent more money on Stray Kids is such a reach lol the reality show barely gets promoted.. shows like Mixnine and Unit get more articles written and whenever a new episode airs there’s always something about it on the front page of Naver.

I had very low expectations before these mv but when it came out I was shock especially with the rapping. This is not jyp style so it is nice to see a jyp group try something new. It is not perfect, but they are barely starting and I think it was a good start.

Munkee F10W3Rr1ng This is a really late comment and you might already know this but I believe the reason for the vocals to be a little "weak" is because they decided to sing their notes in a female key (that is what JYP said on the survival show) and according to him the should be careful about doing that but they did well

A lot of ppl seem to dislike Felix’s rap part (the slower one) but I think it fits really well. It’s good to have a slower rap mixed in to stand out a little more from the quicker rap and Felix’s voice fits really well for it (he has a pretty deep voice in comparison to the other rappers)

I'm gonna say the same thing as others KZbinrs 😂: I was.. shook. I was expecting a lot! But they totally accomplished what I want them to do! The beat is addictive, rappers are all really good with a nice flow and a really great prononciation, and vocals are more than on point! (Let's not talk about how it is visually pleasing and how impressive the choreography is.) I can't even understand why they're gonna do a survival to debut because for me they're more than ready! I agree with a lot of everything everyone has said. This is song is very good and yes vocals are weak but I think for a song these boys put composed it's amazing. I like the MV as well. I think that the survival show will help polish their vocals too. And since jyp wants them to debut they'll do it. The rap line and choreography is awesome. Even 6 years later im still proud of Lee Know for his rap in this. He was told to do part of Hyunjins rap and JYP made him do it within like 20 minutes after telling him he was going to rap. He didnt even have time to learn how to rap from the rappers he was told to do it and did it decently. From him never having rapped in the past he did amazing.

Fun fact: They can all rap and sing, yes the rappers sing, and the singers rap. Also the rap line produces the songs, changbin (rapper at the beginning) and jisung (the one you compared to mark) are lyricists and Chan (the guy who sings before jisung on the bridge) composed/makes the music. Changbin - Rapper, Lyricist, sub-vocals Jisung - Rapper, Lyricist, vocalist (he was the one with the hightnote on the bridge) Chan - Rapper, vocalist, Dancer, Composer/Producer, Lyricist

Oml, if you watch the show you would be amazed. They can produce and choreograph their own content. It still amazes me that they produce new songs and choreography for every mission. The rap line is just amazing like no words can describe them, when you look at JYP rappers, they can't compare. They seem more YG in terms of dance and rapping. They have 3 producers on that team as well, this group is overflowing with talent. As their rappers can sing, Hellevator is in female keys and JISUNG nailed it and he's the main rapper . Chan...Oh Chan...
