This is my favorite this reaction. Finally someone who knows what they are talking about and appreciates creativity, uniqueness, and actually knows about about music. I loved this performance. I did not expect him to bring out a whole ensemble, the opening just blew me away. Everything was even better than i expected. Some ppl don’t like this performance because it’s different but I absolutely loved it. His vocals were on point. Not to mention that his jacket is 40 lbs because it’s made out of real rubies.

finally an opinion from a professional. Incredible that some people without having a minimum knowledge of what a creative concept is dare to criticize only for such silly things as: why am I wearing the same shirt? The artist dared to do something different and in addition to putting money out of his pocket, he did a great job putting on this show in the middle of the restrictions of a pandemic. A challenge for anyone.

From the design of his sets to the details in imagery/ lighting and the choice to continue this album narrative. This was by far the most technologically profound feat at a super bowl if you pay close attention. It’s a damn shame a lot of people don’t appreciate these things. Also, the music itself should be the spectacle, anything extra should be to enhance the experience in a visually formative way, otherwise it’s a distraction from the most important factor, the music itself.

The Weeknd is the Michael Jackson of the new generation. Seriously, I have listened to all his songs, and I have never hated any of them. And that is incredibly rare.

First of all: I think you look amazing!!! Then, I really loved that perfomance. I don´t know why people didn´t like it just because he was alone. I enjoy it so badly and now with your video I just find out more things. We need to stop compare perfomance on that type of show beacuse they are different kind of musician and they have their own personalities!!! but this it´s only my opinion.

Exactly my thoughts! Each year they b*tch about the shows and how it's worse then the last one etc etc. It's always the same circus. I also feel like they also forget that during the pandemic the opportunities are limited 🤷🏻‍♀️ so they should just appreciate what theyve been given or, even better, not say anything at all and move on since apparently nothing will ever satisfy them 🙃

Hey Blake, I hope you get a chance to go back into reacting to Katy Perry. I hope you react to her album “Witness”. This is an album she experimented with and I think it’s her most underrated album
