I saw a story a while back about someone complaining that all the security made it restrictive to their lifestyle to live there. Some people would not visit them there for business or pleasure for example. Apparently the original fixtures and fittings weren’t that good too, but most buying a place like that would spend a fortune personalising it anyway so that’s not an issue. it seems like a nice place though. Soundproofing in the bedroom is a nice touch.

If you don't walk in and out every day but do the occasional visit to the city, I can imagine it being a hassle to live in that very building. I guess if you live there 24/7 you might request a security clearance if secret service deems you eligible to skip some red tape? If you want that location and like the interior style, I think it's a great value for money. The age priced it down a bit perhaps, or newer fancier taller buildings just command double or triple the price per sq ft.

I can't comprehend that kind of places. Everything is so enormous, so you have to trade your personal space for hiring people who would clean, cook and do everything else for you. You have to spend a lot of time just to leave the building! Corridors, elevators and those double security checks. This is insane! (And not in the good way) This is like a fancy prison for ones who enjoys showing off their golden chains. It probably could be nice to spend there a week or a month on vacation or something like that. Living there for a long time would significantly reduce one's perception of its coolness. One either wouldn't see the views that much moving back and forth between home and work or just get used to them quickly.
