Lots of reactors who listen to Budakhel first time, express the same thing…that reactors say they themselves feel they are good singers and people acknowledge them too…but when they listen to Budakhel, they say they’re on a different level and need to go back and reevaluate themselves as singers. Can’t explain it too, but they just know what works, individually and collectively and stunning music is the result. Budakhel fan forever! This is why!

90s OPM originals can be considered as influential in today's Filipino music, kindly check out, forevermore by Side A(live version available)214 by Rivermaya (reunion 2024),Orange by Slapshock (myx live) and there are many Filipino originals which somehow become a formula in love songs such as "Don 't know what to do" by Rick Segreto which an early 80s OPM classics...I hope somehow, listening to the mid- roots of OPM will serve as reference of understanding some of the genres in Filipino music. Or have fun watching locals while drunk on karaoke 🤗 If you have time I think you should check out music bars to see live bands or artists that are really good. 12 Monkeys at Estancia in Pasig or The 70s Bistro in QC.
