I'm surprised to hear your comment about Filipino pool players. Efren Bata Reyes is indeed one of the greatest of all time. Who could forget his incredible Z-shot? Regine has always been very supportive of newcomers as are the other OGs in the Philippine music industry. Another reason why our talents are diverse and abundant is also because of the support of those who already made it, doing constant collaboration with each other, sharing best practices and learning from each other so everybody just gets better. Love this one. Regine also guested in their wyat homecoming concert last year. These boys moms look up to her. Here in the Philippines even in kindergarten, teachers encourage them to sing. Kids will sing together with their teacher and schools here always have programs. Class competing with each other, either song or dance contest. Regine was traines by his late father, she was asked to sing while her body is soaked in water. She does it inside the drum or at the beach where she will sing and all you can see is her head. Her father will walk farther away and he wanted Regine to sing aloud where he can hear her.

You should watch SB19 behind-the-scenes vlog about this performance. Pablo's reaction on Stell's and Ms. Regine's belting is priceless. Even Ken forgot to sing his part because he was so mesmerized. This just show that even the boys have a huge respect to OPM legends like Ms. Regine.

I've heard that they rehearsed it a few hrs before they sang it live..So the boys has to adjust their range in order for Ms Regine to sing the chorus part..Well, we know the SB19 boys how versatile they are..It may sound different from the original but I like how it went well especially on the part of Stell..Good job! 👍👍💖💖🥰🤗👏👏

They were so good. I love how Stell belted his high notes. There was a bts of this performance and when Stell was practicing his part Pablo told him that he sounded like Gigi de Lana. Stell also said that it was one of a kind experience for them...

Yes, karaoke is very useful thing in Filipino culture...in parties, reunion, family gatherings or in simple days with friends we use that. Much more in earlier times because people have no gadgets at all. That's why usually parents teached their kids music through karaoke, sometimes they put as on a table to perform. Even in other country you can see Filipino family's using karaoke in their special events. Thank you Josh and Lucas for your appreciation in Filipino talents and music we love it.

I've read somewhere before that they just practiced and made changes on the song's arrangement hours before the actual performance.. this was after they just guested on another program of the same tv station. Really awesome. I think SB19 Official uploaded some of the BTS in one of their TV guestings vlogs.

We did grew up listening to her songs and having SB19 perform with her was a blessing for them to be together and preformed well. She is a OPM Queen and Asia's song bird ❤ In this performance because she is one of Stell's idol, he says if Ms Regine Velasquez belt he will do that also and he nailed it. Fun fact: Actually they only practiced right before their performance and re-arranged harmonies . Ms Regine is familiar with the song melody but re-arranged on the spot so that it can balance with everyone. Hope you guys can watch their vlog of this as it showed the behind the scenes. SB19 is the only boyband to survive a belting showdown with Regine Velasquez. Back in the 90s Regine turned US Boyband 98 Degrees into vocal-roadkill because their lead singer was so rude backstage. 😂 Thanks for the RV. This is one of my fav performances from last yr. 😊

I remember Ken was so nervous then as arrangement was change and he has to sing first and still star struck. When a musical director heard the song and he said it only needs a female voice that would have been a treat. That came true later on and this was it.

Regine was the champion in a singing contest in the Philippines back in the 80’she remained the undefeated contestant the whole competition until the grand championship where she was declared the grand champion. Unbelievable.
