The biggest thing I admire and like with Jake is his sincerity. You KNOW when you come get info from this guy it's legit, and it's not some ponzy scheme to try and sucker some money outa you. You are much appreciated Jake. Thank you so much for everything. I only have been shooting now for about 6 months and won my first 50m barebow tourney. I appreciate everything very much.

Have you thought about attaching 3 of the vanes to some kind of clear tubing? Then you can just dip it hot water to fletch it. I haven’t tried these yet but I do know trad vanes are tough to fletch.

An idea for a video: Majority of info available online gravitates to hihger poundage bows and longer ranges. But most recreational shooters does not even have access to 18m range (in my case, barely scraping 15m with decent backstop). How range limitation afects gear selection priorities? Technique tips? Fun game / practice drill sugestions? Anythin that improve the ods of shooting more often and gaining skills :D Thanks

Congratulations, Jake!!! I just bought a set. I’m really excited to use them. The people who these will work for are children, women, seniors (men and women), people (men and women) who have physical challenges that limit their draw weight. Hope you have some red, hot pink, and orange in your next colors. You can really spot those well in the … you know … the grass. At least I know where to look now. Thank you for all your information!

Heya, Jake. I've recently started fletching my own arrows, I've ordered your vanes, and tested them at a small offset. My goodness, my groupings improved by a large amount. I'm a beginner who started a little over a year and a half ago, I've got Easton ACCs, and since using your vanes I've managed to complete my progression shoots at 40, 50, and 60 yards by a big margin. Just in time as outdoor season is nearly over. I'm thinking of buying either a set of XX75 Platinum Plus or X7 for indoors and would love to see how these vanes perform indoors. I'm also going to test 3-4" vanes too.

Good move Jake. You took the popular profile of AAE pro Max vane and used WAV material instead. dropping the weigh from 5 grains to 2 grains. For intermediate archer shooting 10-30m its perfect. Low profile vanes struggle to steer the arrows at shorter distance. Low profile only comes into its own at +50m or windy conditions. Only reson i haven't used Max pro Vanes is the weight :D instead of 15grains we have 6 grains with your new vanes.
@JakeKaminskiArchery
@JakeKaminskiArchery 2 жыл бұрын
I use the vanes exclusively at 70m and prefer it over smaller vanes.
@mathiashammar1
@mathiashammar1 2 жыл бұрын
13:40 you mention running helical. I tested mini blazer vanes for 50m . And vindy days it would fly more like 70degrees . And in strong gusts 60 degree. Not 90 degree straight. But mini blazers have alot stiffer vane material. So it was causing to much drift. But I'm shooting 250-270grain with 90 grain point. not an X10 with 120+ grain point and total weight 380-400 grain. That effects alot down range.
@mathiashammar1
@mathiashammar1 2 жыл бұрын
So for future testing for your vanes would be to run test arrows in around 300 grain weight in comparison to X10 weights.

Because the vane is the same material and thickness as the trad vane and you are supposed to be able to shoot them off the shelf, you should be able to do the same with the WAV pros. I say supposed to as I have no first hand experience with this (yet)

@@JakeKaminskiArchery great! Just bought two packs. BTW can you do a video on how point weights affect an arrow’s tune? I'm currently running easton titeflight parabolic. 1.75" and .38" high. 3 grains. a bit better steering then vanetec fita at shorter distances. Your new vane will be a serious contender with basicly a smidge higher profile then parabolic tite flight.

It would probably work well, but clearance may be an issue. However the can be shot off the shelf on a trad bow like a feather so I don’t see why it would make too much if any of a difference.
