-5x+4x can be combine because they are LIKE TERMS. pero different signs (-), (+) kaya subtracted. -5 + 4 = (-1), dahil may variable x, and a variable always a value of 1, it is inappropriate to write 1x..dun sa 5x + 3x, LIKE TERMS din Sila pero same sign, both (+), that is why the result is 8x..review mo Yung rules in adding, subtracting, multiplying And dividing integers so you won't be confuse..😊😊😊
