LOL I have this camera and I have used it in the rain alot, not just the rain but in the snow...dropped it in the snow and its still going strong 3 years later.... It is one incredible camera for sure!

Ive had mine out in heavy rain for well over an hour. Not a problem at all. This thing is sealed very well. I have alot of faith in this camera. My 5D mark II on the other hand, i have had out, but I know it isnt on par with the 7D. 7D is for much more extreme situations for me, 5D is everything else though
