Axel slide rails would be a good place for that.

It comes out the can thin but thickens up over time.

It’s a good solution for adding a little grease to bushings on a regular truck and so forth. Doesn’t look like a replacement for regular grease in a grease gun.

I think that stuff would work good for the rails to slide your tandems.... maybe

I use amsoil multi purpose grease. It doesn't thicken up too much when it's really cold. Great for fifth wheel. The spray Lucas works great on seat sliders.

I would have liked to see if it got thicker after it dried out. It looked like oil on your finger tip.

Good for the 5th wheel slide and other 5th wheel components

I use the packets and a pair of gloves. The only place I could see using the spray is the dry spots under the trailer where the fifth wheel is going to be.

The possibilities for this product are endless … defiantly rediculous for a fifth wheel but there are so many hard to reach areas without grease fittings that need lubrication on machinery… that is game changing

I think it will be perfect for what I'm thinking of using it for. A chain hoist that I'm leaving hanging outside. Just want to keep the rust off of the moving parts. Thanks for the video.

I am sure it has to have some sort of thinner in it, to make it come out of the can. which will evaporate off. I would be curious to know what it is like a couple of days after it has completely lost the thinner.

It has its uses, i like it for rust proofing

Schaefer 5th wheel spray lube has been awesome on our farm. The longer we use it the better it works.

Red and tacky in the TUBE is like day and night to that. Sliding the tandems looks like a better place for that.

Yep. Wanted to give it a try...always looking for better products

I agree 1000% about the tube of the black Lucas grease. That stuff sucks
@BlazingSun392 жыл бұрын
I haven't used this particular product before, but on the ones I *have* used, they usually thicken up after they have some time to set up in the air. My personal favorite is Invisilube, but that stuff seems to be getting more expensive and harder to find, so I might give this a shot.

Good for tandems

It may not be good for what you're using but in my opinion it looks better than using like fluid film or something like that. Cause it's safe on pretty much anything unlike a lot of these other spray stuff

I used Red & Tacky out of a grease-gun tube on 5th-wheels for intermodal drop and hook. I think old 5th-wheels, like the 18-year-old one on the truck I drove, was warped because the chassis always seemed to clean it to metal in the same spots. I do find it stays on very well during rain storms while driving bobtail.

Get a tub of red n tacky and a spatula. Works great… no grease gun needed.

I imagine you going through a lot of those cans. The can says Red and Tacky. It's red but not really tacky. Keep looking for a better one.

Red and Tacky is a waste of money. Anyone who uses it, and swears by it, try this…take some red and tacky and mix it with water and watch what happens. Spoiler Alert: It absorbs water and breaks down very quickly.
