the reason people ask about the china origin is because people from the US generally feel the original US denim manufacturer who is releasing a celebratory 150th birthday denim should have been made in the country they started in... i get what you are saying as far as who cares if its made in china. I love my non stock or bronson stuff

I saw some jeans on you but these Levis 501/150 cut looks amazing on you!!!!!!! This is the best cut!!!!!! Nowadays Levis 501 are very underrated by denim heads and they prefer more japanese brands. But Levis 501 are still very cool for me and the original first jeans on this earth!!!!!!!!

Very nice...made from china cotton from Xinjjiang one of the best cottons in the world,Levis is there, cone denim is there.And the jeans are perfect.I am a shrink to fit guy from 16 until my gloriuos 69 years.

How did you shrink them on hot in the washer or did you do the tub method? And how many times thanks.

I soaked it in hot water (manually boiled the water in a big cooking pot and mixed it with some cold water but the temperature was hot) with some regular agitation and left the pants for about one hour. I did it twice with an interval of one month. Thanks!

You are welcome. The weight of the fabric is the usual 12 Oz per square yard. Of course, the water in the fabric is an additional weight to the fabric when wet. Thanks for watching.

Well do they have other cuts or just 501 cuts? Don't know if they have them in Malaysia or not.. Just bought or normal dark color 501 premium.. only felt the fabric a bit hard/thick (not stf).. Needs to get used to it haha..

It is only offered in the 501 cut. The fabric is the usual 12 Oz weight, the same with the ordinary Levi's jeans. Thanks for the comment.

Yes! It is because the fabric is Shrink-To-Fit.

Good day Sir! Okay po kaya na mag size 29 (no hot soaking), i've notice that new 501 releases is a bit larger compared to older released which i am usually size 30, but size 29 on 501s still fitted on me.

I would like to order this 501/150 too. You said, the jeans runs big and will shrink to the tag size after a hot soak. That means, that i have to order my right size 32*32 or should i size up in the waist and length?????

Looks good, but I'm still not sure about ordering them online as Levi's sizing is inconsistent. I'm a 32 in their non-selvedge 501 made in china but a 33 in their made in mexico.

I don't know what you mean but the mere fact that there is writing on the edges means that this is a selvedge denim. Just my opinion. Thanks for watching.

Hi Jovenal, I’m new to your channel. I just bought the exact same pair of 501 150 editions. Without washing they absolutely fit perfectly. I’ve decided not to wash them for fear of shrinkage. How have yours shrunk after your soak? I’m thinking of a cold soak when they get dirty say in 6 months.

I soaked my jeans in hot water for two successive times already and I got 1 inch shrinkage on the waist and 2.5 inches. The waist is ok but I am not satisfied with my hips area because it is still very loose. Anyway, it fits very comfortable. Thanks for watching and for the comment. Go ahead with your plan to soak/wash it after 6 months.

Thank you. We will see if the fabric will shrink some more. I have done two hot soaks already and the 2nd soak did a minimal shrinkage. Yes, the 511 (slim cut) Levi's is really good fit on me. Thanks!
