Looks like these screw-in pegs are "left-hand Threads" (ie anti-clockwise) - why on earth would they make them like that?

They are left-handed but we're not entirely sure why, to be honest.

Thank you for your enquiry. Having a left thread is just our point of difference. If you have a left thread then you know you have an Outback Tracks screw in peg.

@@OutbackTracksScrewInPegs - Since my last post, I have noticed that at least one of your competitors (Ground Dogs) also has the same "point of difference"! That said, it makes no difference whether left or right thread especially if you're using a power drill. Your product is great anyway.
