I used Griffin Silk (I don't remember what size it was) and 11/0 Delicas to make a long kumihimo necklace--it worked perfectly and turned out very nice. I must admit, however, by the time I had completed the necklace, I had just about had it with working with those tiny Delica beads!! Thanks for sharing more info about using this product.

Really pretty necklace. All those silk colors are pretty too. I ordered size #2 and #4 in a bunch of colors quite a while back thinking the # was similar to wire gauge. Guess not. Now I’m not sure what to do with these tiny sizes. Thoughts?

The nylon is less smooth than the silk, Nylon has a more woven look to it!
