That Coyote is going to be a gamechanger in the swap world. An F150 Coyote is 90% of what a Mustang Coyote is and needs NOTHING done to the bottom end to make crazy serious horsepower. They'll be cheap, in the JY soon. Cant wait to see the coming Coyote swapped projects.

I was a Mustang/Cougar fan for decades. My whole lifetime car budget is roughly $80K. I can certainly admire and respect this and other cars. At 72 y.o. I am 100% happy with my 2013 Dodge Challenger R/T 5.7/6 speed. It's my toy and comes out for driving fun, while my 2003 Trailblazer is my regular duty vehicle. More power to this guy, with my blessing!

My teenage years were spent being allowed to drive my parents 65 Mustang GT 4 speed coupe. The sound of the exhaust when I hear one now is unmistakeable. You folks build a beautiful car and make us listen to {not} the sound of the engine, so explain why mask the engine performance sound with a tune?

The BEST car I ever owned (Porsche included) ... was my Mustang 66 GT Coupe. I spent most of my money on the suspension back then as that was what allowed me to kick the shit out of any slammed 510 on Highway 17 and 9 to Santa Cruz. If I had the bread .... this 68 R-Code would be my choice as I'm sure it would fit like a glove for me.

I love your work, and I am considering this quite seriously. I was initially thinking of new Aston vantage but, this could be a nicer one to drive. I just want to know what the catch is. Do these vibrate like the old cars and are very noisy inside? Can these truly be comfortable daily drivers and Grand tourers (Not the R speck but the 66/65 fastback)? Is handling very hard compared to modern cars? Sorry, but there are not many reviews out there so I am dumping everything here.

Not in love with the raspy exhaust. I prefer the low rumble. I am also not in love with the Coyote in this application. My '69 Cobra Jet had low end torque that was below 2K rpm that snaps your head back and pushes you into the seat...after all: horse power is a metric computed from torque. You can use torque all the time; how fast do you have to go to use 460HP? Love the look and the color.

So true story I’m tripping on acid earlier and near the peak when I’m fully drained of all emotion and energy I look over to my girl and say I want a Mustang and a cigarette. I recalled playing Forza horizon 4 with the 68 fastback and wishing i had one with the refinement of a modern day sports car and momentarily thought I’d stumble upon a great idea. But here it is. Car isn't made to be a dollar for dollar comparison. It's meant for collectors who want the 65-67 body & interior, not a production line modern car. If that's what you want, you can certainly go to your Ford dealer & get one. It's like saying you want a Jaguar E Type convertible, but it costs 4x the price of an F Type that you can walk into a dealership & get & can outperform the E Type.

fanman71 - Yep that’s true. But it’s advertised as a desirable “car” on U Tube not a piece of “art” and it’s open to fair comment as something to evaluate. Personally I feel that this object is being sold as a Carnot an object of art for museum use. As a car it’s way overpriced at $235k. But of course that’s just my opinion. If I had that money to blow on a car I wouldn’t buy it. I’d look at something more unique exotic and better ride! It’s all subjective. If you like it that’s great and you can buy it for a million $$$ if you want.
