This is a semester in college worth of information in a video, I have a degree and used Autodesk Maya for it, literally a whole semester woulda been rigging a character like this manually lmao SOLID video, and you're hilarious

Well the good news is you never have to do it again & have a functional animation or game ready character, that looks freakin sick… and a new therapist.

I can totally understand that, but you can use Mixamo to autorig any human-like model and then doing some key frames animation, which is still time consuming but ok

hello there ☺ For those struggling to apply automatic weigths, you can simply scale your character up in size (i scaled up to 14m for a character at around 2m in height). Once scaled up you can apply the automatic weight and check if the character is working in pose mode. If all is good, you can scale you character back to it's normal size. And you should be good to go ☺ have a nice and safe day whatever you are doing ☺

Yea.... Idk what I thought I was doing when I decided to learn everything to make a game... I mean Programming... Sure... Hardware design and internal flow... No problem... Handling an Engine like Unity or Unreal... Easy... Learning the workflow of a developer like Thor or similar... Absolutely... Blender... Well f*ck me in every hole... Animations... Okay this startin to hurt honestly... Rigging... VFX... Texturing... Sculpting... Depth... Shaders... Lighting... Okay okay this is really complicated... LoDs... Nature... Servers... Optimisations... Artifacts... Yea I hate it now but damn its worth it when you get the hang of it... I mean I only need to make a demo which I can use to pull in sponsors and potentially a good studio... Or Ima just use my paychecks to finance assets for a full early access sometime... Either way thanks for the insight :) Im really starting to understand why the departments either all hate each other or love each other in the development industry... Like a clean modell really does make a huge difference, especially for held items etc...
