Same thing happened to me at Walmart, prices have not been updated to the newer price. So good thing I took a picture of the plastic totes I was buying and they were able to override the price. Much love Karrie!💜

Don’t let them fool you!!! We have an app on our phone directly onto the stores system, cashiers SHOULD look up the price and should be up to date. I have seen how some cashiers say “ oh I am sorry for that” but will not even pull out their phone to check. We can even scan right with our phones. If you call a manager they will use their phone too they have other tools but it is the same system. Unless an item is not scanning and we have it in the system that will be an item code error.

You are so kind in how you explained the grocery cost mistake! Right now, I think all businesses are struggling to keep up, let alone be accurate. Yes, no excuse, but it is likely they don't have enough help to check the shelves for accuracy. You are an example for all of us - just be vigilant, and let the business have a chance to make it right.

Oo that fridge clip brought back memories I hated putting bottle waters in the fridge they was always falling over took up a ton of space we grab n waste half them I invested in one of them filtered pitchers for water all though I do buy the $1 gallon water and dumb in there it still has saved us money and it’s not so aggravating takes up less space when we’re on the go I just fill up my tumbler and go

You have to watch the grocery stores. I also pay close attention to the prices on the shelves and I will call them out on it. I agree too that they shouldn’t charge you a different price then what’s on the shelf just because they had a proc increase in the computer.

They aren't allowed to have a different price on shelf than what they charge. Our local store, if you point it out while checking out they will give it to you for what is posted.

After 5 yrs still trying new ways to organize my food since I don't have a pantry. My goal is to see as much stuff to create meals and be able to reach stuff. But I always have to keep a step stool handy and rotate my food to make sure the oldest is used. It's kind of a pain BUT I'm blessed to have food. Gotta do my freezer too!! Great motivation girl! I stopped by the Dollar Tree today. Shelves are pretty empty. I like the new way you did your grocery haul. People can clearly see what you bought without you telling us. Lol. One day while grocery shopping I decided to buy a small pork roast. While the lady was scanning my groceries and I was watching the prices, she got to the roast, scanned it, $1500.00 came up on the register. She was about to just continue scanning when I told her to stop. I asked her did she not see the computer scanned the roast wrong? It wasn't $1500.00 but $15.00. She acted like it annoyed her that I spoke up. I mean seriously, who wouldn't have? Of course the manager was very apologetic for the mistake. It really does pay to be aware of the prices of the items you buy.

I think it's fantastic that you were honest about the Hello Fresh meal not being your favorite, and I think it's great that they still approved your video!!! I've started using baking soda and white vinegar in the washing machine. No more issues with smelly clothes. I remember you said your husband couldn't stand the smell of vinegar but I don't have any vinegar smell afterwards. It might work for you.

I agree with you about leaving everything in the original packaging. It helps with the use by dates and saves you unnecessary expense for fancy containers you don't need. I was falling myself for buying some Oxo containers that are very expensive and asking myself what I needed that for. I was influenced by some of the other people who are on youtube. I appreciate you so much.

I recently got a U-EWay tilt out trashcan storage cabinet off of Amazon last month to put my kitchen trashcan in if you're worried about your dogs getting into the trash when you're gone. It comes with a storage drawer on top and a wood cutting board for around $130 on sale. It took awhile assembling if you're doing it by yourself, but comes out looking really good. It doesn't take up that much space.

I love the snack basket idea and the fact that you are honest and realistic about the plastic food storage containers. (I want to do it too but know i wont keep it up) I would ask you recycle your plastic when you the cleaned out the fridge if possible. I love all your energy and ideas. I enjoy watching your channel. Live your videos. I don’t know if you don’t this but do it in my laundry and it helps with funky smells. I put a cup of white vinegar in my sheets, towels and blankets. I get the really big jug in the condiments section where all the vinegars are. It’s about $2.86 a gallon. It takes the nasty smells right out with no vinegar smell when done. I hope it helps

Not sure if alot of people know this or not but in our walmart they have to give you the item at what it says on the shelf. Many times we have been at the register & had to tell them. I only knew because my husband used to work there. Not sure if that rule is at every store but definitely is walmarts policy. Great video. I want to try hello fresh so bad!

Buy yourself a sound machine. I’ve always been a light sleeper and am sometimes awake for two hours even when I’m not stressed. My husband uses it too, especially during the day when he sleeps after working the night shift.
