I love how Sam sort of confirms and co-signs all the stuff that we all intuitively know. His videos are a good reminder that our most valuable asset is FOCUS. Keep it up, amigo!!

Awesome - I've known this for a long time as intuition. Always got weird looks from people when they heard about it. Good to hear it from you! We've taken it to an extreme now as I am currently in Tasmania an hour away from the city on a farm with all that we have is Internet connection, 2 desks, 2 large whiteboards and workout equipment.(+ofcourse all living essentials) Once a week we go to town to get food and make sure to buy only healthy stuff so when we are back there is no way we will drive an hour to get a snack. We have been traveling for the last 3 years eating and loving life, time to get back in shape and double down on our business! Thanks @sam you inspired me to be better!

That was so funny, when you were talking about putting your desk in a room you want to be in, I thought oh I remember when I had my stand up desk in the laundry room as it was the only room unoccupied in my apartment at the time. Then you mentioned the guy with the stand up desk in his laundry room. Oh man! lol! So funny as that could only have been me, although I made $10k/month in that room I’m glad to say I’ve upgraded to a room I want to be in with a nice view and lots of “natural light”

hey Sam, I agree with you and I would like to add, who needs to eliminate the distractions from his environment will never make progress, he commits himself to waste time in an action that should not be made necessary. Distraction should not even exist in the hungry's mind.

I love it! The idea of becoming an optimal functioning human-machine... Yes! And, I appreciate how you how you break things down into their simplest elements, so that, virtually, "anyone" can do it. All you've got to do is to "t-a-k-e a-c-t-i-o-n"; something, I think, many people struggle with. Thank you, Sam, for sharing your insights so freely!

A big part in peoples psychology is as well, 'the fear of missing out'. They need to be on this one party or that meeting with friends although nothings gonna happen there anyway.. As well as pain preventing.. rather being sucessfully unsucessful than feeling a little pain by failing and failing... And failing again.. until you' ve finally learned that new skill you've wanted to learn or etc... It's as Sam says doing it consistent days, months and years is it what lets you master it.

Kia Ora Sam! many thanks I don't how you do it! you are sooo on point with every topic on every video it blows my mind ... why? because you say the things about what we already know & understand in a new light, that makes it ultra clear e.g *Default=Path of Least Resistance* I keep reminding to myself to make certain productive activities as a *Default* But, I shld make them with *Paths of Least Resistance too! duh* then that Fitness Rule applies to everything too. just few simple processes. Good Sleep. Eat Well. Move More are just plain Healthy so, we can apply *"Healthy"* to everything else too!

Thank you Sam, I knew I had some distractions that were pulling away from whats been keeping me productive, includinf getting through the Accelerator course. I guess I've felt because I have 2 kids, there are some things 'I can't' get rid of which I know now, is just an excuse. I've decided to deactivate my Facebook page from today, and I'm going to move my phone into the lounge room the same way you're suggesting. I don't watch much TV like my family does, but I think I'm going to work on at least illimating the amount of time they're switched on to influence better habits in the home for my husband and my sons. Thank you again. 😊😊

And of course 25 min pomo work as well.

Sam I'd love it if you could do a video on categorising and organising things. I've always struggled... I try to label and organise things but never manage my stuff in a few buckets or labels but keep adding more and end up with dozens and then give up entirely... Or maybe someone could point me in the direction of a useful video on this or something. Thanks anyway :)

I think this is covered in the environment part of his video. I'm also reading a book atomic habits which is great for this. Basically if the items in your bucket are not contributing directly to your goals. Get rid of them all together. With prioritising tasks I use Sams War Plan..
