Cheat code 1: See problem blocks far in advance a. Inertia - do what we been doing b. Do what others expect us to do c. Emotional- Do what we have impulse to do d. Ego - Seeks status and be overconfident Prepare for how we will handle problem defaults with rules Cheat code 2: Simplify the game Clarify your MOST important factor by facing off different factors Cheat code 3: Slow down the game a. Barbell approach to decisions. ASAP or As late as possible (ALAP) If low consequences do ASAP, if major and difficult to reverse then then ALAP b. Run a trial with 3 choices and decide the best Good judgement is expense, but poor judgement will cost you a fortune

My reflection is that clear thinking is also a form of identity. For others, we shouldn't use simple categories to summarize a person; we should emphasize that a person's character is complex and will show different facets in different situations. However, for yourself, you hope you do so well that you can always provide positive expectations, so that others say, "That's just how you are."

Great video, but 7:24 please don't base stock purchases on "FLOP" graph shapes. What happens next after such shape is not predictable, or it would be priced in.
