Watching the Dior eyeshadow palette part right now and, honestly, I have never ever been inspired by brands like that. Except YSL, but being not cruelty-free, a brand that I never reach for. @nerdmaid12403 жыл бұрын
I agree with the whole thing of not putting in any effort. I feel like big expensive (and established) brands don't ever bother to develop their products because people will buy them anyway. Cheaper and mid range brands put in the work because the market is more fickle and competitive. I bought a dupe of Chanel Rouge Noir nail varnish from Rimmel until I could get the proper one because it was new and there was a waiting list (yes, I'm that old) and when I finally got the Chanel one, the Rimmel was much better. The Chanel one was awful. It chipped immediately, no matter how many ways I tried to work with it.

Hm, I really enjoyed the video 😍😍 Thanks for sharing your thoughts. One thing I can mention about the Dior palette, what I’ve noticed from working with the brand in a department store is that those are so old in their formulation that it’s nothing compared to Dior “Backstage”. If you want blendable, buildable shadows, that’s where you should be looking. I would say that Dior backstage is more directed to people with more experience in makeup then the average person who simply are looking for an eyeshadow to slap on the eyelid and call it a day. 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️ That’s why they always have their own staff manning the backstage counters, to “show and tell” so to speak. ❤️❤️❤️

I remember that Dior video. You were delighted with the highlighter & it looked gorgeous on you. I bought it & love it too. What's better than a $70 pizza? Robert when something delights him 💖

I love these videos, they’re so informative and you’re criticizing the brands/tik Tok creator’s in such a professional way. But I actually really like the L’Oréal powder as a setting powder and not a foundation.

I liked how you did this video. Also the Gucci bronzer looked liked dirt immediately! I know you didn’t like the Dior eyeshadow palette because it didn’t blend but honestly it still looked amazing on you!

I like falsecara and I use it often. I get many people asking me what I am using. I guess it's for people that like a natural look.

I love the Kiss Falsecara. They last 3 days, it's a good result for me. You have to let it dry and then apply the seal.

I love the hate or dislike videos so much. I really tells me what to avoid and why to avoid. Why to avoid is very helpful because similar products I would hate also so I wont waste my money and time.

I love it when you roast products 🔥🔥🔥 especially when you say things like... it seemed like it was a mascara I found on the floor of my car after many months 😂 yeah, you said that once, lol! And the blush farting on your cheek 🤣🤣🤣 and the food comparison, where your food truck and McD'd is better than that bronzer lmao!

I love the falscara but I use invisible band lashes and cut them into 3 parts and they are so pretty.

This video format was really interesting! :) I do like the L'oreal powder foundation, but I don't apply it in the TikTok way. Using a foundation brush or a concealer brush to buff it on gives me a reasonable amount of coverage (not ~dramatic gasp~ full coverage) but doesn't look gross. I can see how smooshing it on with a sponge would make it look pretty bad. And their website does have 20 shades shown, which still isn't great but it's better than six.

THANK YOU! I feel like I was the only one who didn't have a positive review of the Loreal infallible powder 😩

Ooh my niece and I love falscara. It’s definitely trial an era but once you figure them out, they’re grand.

Omg Cassandra Bankson just did a video about the Chanel skincare line, saying how these luxury, top end, designer brands are just absolutely taking the p*** with quality etc. highly recommend that video (plus cass in general is amazing).
