Professional bull rider shot, killed in domestic violence incident in Salt Lake City

27-year-old Demetrius Omar Lateef Allen was a professional bull rider known as Ouncie Mitchell on the PBR Tour. Salt Lake City police said the homicide happened just after midnight Monday at an apartment complex near 900 South 200 West.

I’m a male and people don’t think a man can be abused your wrong! It started out with small little things like eating habits, talking on the phone, looking around in a mall, then it was my job, then it was my friends, then my family and got to the point I couldn’t even go to the store! I come home one time to find she had cut the toes out of all boots with a razor knife and another time all my shirts was in the bathtub and she had poured bleach on them. Then the slapping, kicking and biting started. I was a sleep one night when she was going over my phone bill and seen a strange number, she didn’t ask who it was ( my sister had gotten a new number) and got a broom handle and come in while I was a sleep and got me 4 or 5 times with it before I got away…. I’m what some people would call a big guy, I’m a little over 6’1 at 230 and I’m a welder fitter by trade and never thought I could hit her and I’m not proud but the last night we was together I had got up and went to get a drink of water and never heard her coming and she slapped me with a cupped hand over my right ear and I ducked turned and hit her and knocked her to the floor. I don’t have an excuse for what I did I just know at that point our 13 1/2 year relationship was over. I put on clothes and picked up my hat and walked out. It took me a long time to get passed her….. lol this is the first time I’ve actually told anyone part of my store! Thank y’all for listening.
