Technically, there are 3 different kinds of clam chowders: New England is a creamy, white soup with lots of butter and a little cooking sherry. Manhattan is a tomato-based version, almost like a Minestrone. Rhode Island is just kinda broth and clams. Most people outside Rhode Island rarely choose to order that kind... 😜

There are literally two different kinds of Lobster rolls that folks vehemently swear by. The hot Lobster 🦞 roll on a toasted bun with drawn butter, originally invented about 20 minutes from here in Milford, Connecticut during the boop-boop-bee-doop "Roaring 20's". Then there is the cold Lobster 🦞roll, with mayonnaise and lettuce on a cold bun. Supposedly, that was originally invented in Rhode Island....
