Do you still recommend this system for backyard users.

I've done about a dozen shoots with it. I've moved on from the clip on ignitors to using MJG igniters and e-matching into the lift charges for instant ignition to match note for note on pyro musicals. You can turn off the 2 second delay when doing it, and It works pretty well. It's like having a small cobra system. The big difference is distance and cues. Cobra is nearly infinite with cue counts. You max out on this with 6 modules x 18 + any break out cues you buy. For example I have five modules + five break out cues that shoot five shots each so I max out at 115 individual shots. But you can do a lot with 100+ cues. The farthest I get when firing is about 250-300 feet. If you'd like to see some shows shot with it, join the official Facebook group. Scott, the creator of the system, is the moderator along with his team.

@traviskramer9997 I've been looking to get another system for just my back yard shows. But also want to test pyromusicals. I was reading on the ignite website that even using mjgs that they suggest you still shouldn't fire cues on the same module within 2 seconds of each other. Because of the ignitor plates fusing together and shorting. You ever had this issue? Basically have you had problems lighting say your green module, cues 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 all within 2 seconds one after the other but not at the same time. Basically for comets. Hopefully that makes sense

In your opinion, any reason for the backyard warrior to get a cobra over this. I do have my 1.3 and shoot of some 1/1 cakes and a few 3 inch shells. I normally just fuse it all together but i want a better way. I just don't want to spend cobra money.

That isn't from cobra. Ignite is the maker it's an I18 module.

It isn't labeled as a Cobra product, but the same people made it. Scott Smith is the same guy behind both.

Cobra is NOT a professional system, its back yard

It can be used to fire any type of ignitors. We use them in both commercial and e-match situations.
