Great reaction. Haley has the top four spots in PMJs channel. Her top video, Creep, has over 122 million views. Haley’s vocal range is off the charts. The proof is in her rendition of I Put A Spell On You, live on tour, from HaleysTusk channel.

"Vintage Microphone", on Haley's 2019 tour, her band gifted her one of those. I video'd a few of those shows and the problem w/ those from the perspective of a videographer or anyone sitting directly in front of her, you can't shoot from the front because the mic covers her mouth and half of her face. Luckily I also had side shots for when she sang directly behind the mic. Haley hasn't used that mic since on tour...

Here's my video of Haley singing an original song, "Oh Damn" in my hometown show, using that 'vintage mic' we shot from the sides, but you can see how the mic would block her face from the front kzbin.info/www/bejne/jKfTppprfsiBfLcsi=4ohrYIaeeWGxQkO2

I thought Emily was great. A real natural in front of camera. I would have only liked a bit more analysis from her (and you) subjectively about the arrangement but short and sweet is fine too.

Definitely more Emily. It's good to see you interact with someone, and improves the reaction when you can bounce impressions back and forth. And absolutely more Haley; if she was in a red dress she'd be a real live Jessica Rabbit :) (especially on Seven Nation Army!)

Zack, it's not PMJ, but you should react to Haley Reinhart, Slash of Gun's and Rose's, and Myles Kennedy of Alter Bridge performing "Wild Horses" by the Rolling Stones. It was a celebration of Mohammed Ali's 70th birthday.

As a child of the 60's, born in 1955, I love when listeners realize that the musical interlude is 60's icon Leslie Gore's, Don't Tell Me What to Do!

Never seen anyone play the air-xylophone before 🙂. Got a challenge for you. Try watching Gentle Giant playing "Funny Ways" and see if you can play the air-glockenspiel. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jWKTlpqQrapkf5Y

Thank you for putting in the effort and having Emily as special gust- always a treat to watch a PMJ Hayley review. I unfortunately did not like this video very much. Taking a weighted analysis, that is number of promises made vs promised kept. Word totals off topic most egregious, color of a toy vs video, instrument? Words count for Zack vs Guest Zack promised to "don't speak", but did all of the talking, and promised a Professional Singer speaking, who did not provide any profession singer insight I could recall; her facial reactions were fine. Both of you seem accomplished but the video fails on delivering promises in my opinion. For you consideration I will list these broken promises. 1. Zack talks on average off topic to Harley's performance: bones and sax guy etc. . 2. Comments of Emily generic non-singer observations, not much actual talking. 3. Reaction more or less too distracting: history of the song, of xylophone (?) player as a comic foil (a feature of some PMJ videos) As a fan of reaction videos and Hayley, her performances are widely feature reactions. So there are many other to compare to, maybe unfair, but a reality. Composition of your frame could benefit, by inset video above your head, your way to prominent in the screen, Still thank you for putting in the effort and so observations of one person to improving- keep your promises!

You and I have much different taste, to me, the xylophone guy is a complete distraction and the least important part to the music. I downloaded this video then edited it by cropping it excluding the lease talented player in the video, the xylophone player. Now when I want to watch this video privately, it is much better.
@HaleysTusk
@HaleysTusk 6 ай бұрын
The Xylophone player is definitely not 'the least talented player' Jacob Scesney was person that introduced PMJ's Scott Bradlee to Casey Abrams, his fellow Idyllwild Arts graduate, and they both brought Haley into PMJ. I saw Jacob's first appearance w/ both Haley and Casey before any of them joined PMJ. Jacob plays multiple reed instruments, primarily sax, but he has also played clarinet, trumpet and sometimes multiple instruments at the same time. He's also toured in massive stadiums in support of their tours, one of PMJ's busiest working musicians Like the Tambourine guy, PMJ uses Jacob for some comedy relief in their videos, in another one, he's seen jumping through a window. He also goofs around on the live shows, often w/ his buddy Casey Abrams, playing sax while riding Casey's back across the stagel

@@HaleysTusk Sorry, I also played clarinet in a symphonic orchestra and have average musical skills. I sincerely felt what he produced in this video was subpar. Maybe it was an off day. Lastly, his body motions and movements drew the eyes of the viewer. no one else did that. I thought it was a big distraction as evidenced by the number of reactors who made many comments about his movements. Thanks for your comments. Take care.

@@ThaiChinaMalay No worries, I just wanted to defend Jacob as a long time follower of Haley's, like Casey, Jacob is and has been a vital piece in Haley's story. Many of Haley's band mates have come to some prominence on the touring stage, from "Breezy Lovejoy" aka Anderson Paak, to Zephyr Avalon, who's become a fan favorite in Zach Bryan's touring band (He played w/ Bruce Springsteen the other night), and even recorded no Zach's break out album. Jacob has become a force all on his own playing w/ the greats, often getting gigs on TV, even written scores to major movies... Granted, his part in this video was 'gimmicky' and I understand it being a distraction, but that's part and parcel of PMJ, they will bring in a tambourine guy, a 7ft clown, tap dancers and fan girls, Cheers

@@ThaiChinaMalay You might already noticed, but there was a reason for him to jump in and out of the video, the guitar player is behind him, so he jumps out to show the guitar player. There are a ton of performers in that screen, so the jumping in and out wasn't arbitrary, cheers
@ThaiChinaMalay
@ThaiChinaMalay 6 ай бұрын
@@HaleysTusk I was not suggesting it was arbitrary... I was talking about his body language and expressions which were designed to draw attention to himself. I have seen at least 20 reactors who focused more on him than anyone else. I have seen 5-6 reactors that verbally stated that he was a distraction to the performance. He sounds like a great guy, but I did not appreciate his distraction. Thanks again for your response. You are a very positive person who brings good things to others. Thank you.
