Haley doesn't sing a song. Haley sings an attitude, and she uses the song as the vehicle, the means, to get there! All About That Bass Seven Nation Army Creep The songs are terrific. But the attitide!! (Chef's kiss! 😘🤌🏼) Enjoy the rabbit hole! We're enjoying watching your new reactions to the roller coaster that we've ridden countless times. And seeing your new joy brings us renewed joy! ❤

My favorite singer over the past 7 years. Loved your reaction. Your analysis is spot on . She has a lot of content on You Tube that are not videos but singing live to an audience. She is such a great performer that in my opinion are better than videos. You can tell she loves singing to a live audience.

The pianist is Scott Bradlee, the creator of PMJ as well as (afaik) the sole arranger of all of their music... also, it's a running inside joke that they (almost) always hide the drummer behind the singer.

great reaction and detail analysis daniel... haley reinhart is the "real life" jessica rabbit here... it's crazy how she completely embodies the music and new orleans "dirge" vintage time period so well in this sort of symbiotic relationship that is so authentic and rare. the band and arrangement are excellent but she really brings it to life. in addition to her unique stunning vocals, she even becomes another instrument towards the end with the relentless scatting. when i briefly met her before a show over a year ago, i was surprised how petite and soft spoken she is in person with how big a presence she puts on stage... all of her other collaborations with postmodern jukebox are stunning, but "creep" is her masterpiece. she also has an amazing solo career. enjoy and look forward to more haley reinhart reactions! 😎

This is easily in my top three of any postmodern jukebox cover ever. The groove, style, and exquisite execution by the whole group. It makes you feel like you just watched ella fitzgerald in a prohibition bar in New Orleans. As fun for you Haley and postmodern jukebox also did a cover of Creep and it is so good but different from voiceplay. They also did an amazing vintage take on All About the Bass that you enjoy with the Home Free version for completely different reasons. Miche Braden postmodern jukebox cover of guns n roses Sweet child of mine in new Orleans jazz style will make you swear the cover is the original. Voiceplay also covers 7 nation army in acapella. You have my advance permission to love both.

This was the most interesting reaction. Haley does a lot of different covers, but she has her own music. Even though some have already said people will be requesting Creep, I am asking for it too, it is even better than this one. Haley was on American Idol quite a few years ago, there are a lot of her performances to check out. To me, Haley is a musical instrument.

@@JeffTokayer They record their singing in their home studios. Whoever is arranging a song/video edits the song with their voices together. Then they film the videos in their costumes or outfits together with them lip syncing to the song. It's amazing. These guys are independent and do everything themselves. Except intricate makeup, cameras and audio mixing.

Great stuff, thanks so much for sharing! 🌹 You will get plenty of PMJ suggestions, so ill leave you with something else. Angelina Jordan - Bohemian Rhapsody, from Americas got Talent (Video has 100+ million views) I could write you a paragraph or two about this once in a lifetime prodigy that Angelina is, but ill leave that for her thousands of fans who will fill your comment section once you react to her 💖 A couple of facts, just to intrigue you - She won Norway got Talent when she was 7-8y old, singing Billy Holiday and Gershwins 'Summertime' - Age 12 she opened at Quincy Jones' 85th birthday concert at the O2 arena - with Quincy's arrangement singing 'Fly me to the moon'. Quincy said she was the best he had heard since Michael Jackson.

Thank you for your perspective! This is how I like to engage with music and am not focusing on "acting for the back row". While I'm aware some moments can be considered histrionic, ultimately this is how I enjoy the music I listen to and it makes me happy.
