He's doing a bang up job. I've been window cleaning myself for 21 years, and it never ceases to amaze me how other window cleaners need to swing their dicks by telling you their technique and how you can improve on your own technique. For some reason, it seems window cleaners are always in a pissing contest with other professionals. Every window cleaner has their own way of getting the job done, and as long as the glass comes out clean, job well done. Although, I am speedy and efficient at my job, I'm not the fastest and, I couldn't care less. The only piece of advice, I offer to new employees... Make sure you look behind you before moving. I almost walked off a seven story roof onto concrete while using a water fed system while walking backward my first week working. I was pulling the line back and all of a sudden ended up sitting on the parapet wall looking at the ground 80 feet below. From that day forward, I always make sure, I know what's around and behind me while working. Excellent technique by the way!

Think about this - Took him 5 minutes - If he is charging $20 for this storefront, and he has 5 of them in a row...he made $100 in 25mins - Nice work if you can get it!

I really what a job like this, just clean, and do my job without small conversations, then go home. I have really bad anxiety so having a job that i can keep to myself without talking to people is my dream job. ; _;

Zena Girl ☆ you need to talk to people in order to get the work in the first place especially if your self employed. I was very anxious and couldn't talk to people from 17 but I got a job at a coffee house and that seems to have sorted most of my anxiety... you need to do it even if you hate it.

Great video. I like seeing an expert at work! Is there any reason in particular why you didn't use the wagtail for the other windows?

Hi! Great movements! I watch all of your videos about solutions but i cant decide what to use fairy (dishwasher) or professional chemicals based on alcohol. When i use dishwasher which is better, to put in directly on the sleeve, or in the bucket with water. Thanks and greetings from Bulgaria!!!

I can't imagine the top windows look nearly as good as if you just used a ladder. Also how do you get away without wiping any edges? Would seem like in person and up close that you would have grey all the way around the window.

It's all about perspective Dave, the customer isn't going to take a ladder out and look at the top window, plus this wagtail is dog eared which removes 99.9% of the water ;) once you've done this long enough the technique between your hand and the tool gets so good that really isn't hardly any water left. If I ever towel it's to catch a drip from the seals.

Beware of goo building up and getting drippy over time if you continue to only "face" that top frame and you don't "ledge" it. Take a brass squeegee handle and bend it under, about 20 degrees past 45. Use it on the end of a pole to "ledge" high ledges.

In your professional opinion, not squeegeeing or wiping lower sills and not detailing sides. novice or professional? For the sake of speed.
