Tough day in the NHL world for sure. Appreciate the kind words on such a tragic event. Great start to this series, I’m looking forward to the rest. Really love your content and hope as the sharks continue to improve your channel gets some more love. 🦈

You are an incredibly dedicated Sharks fan considering the home games in SJ don’t start until like 10:30pm for you..! Respect

Interesting start to your Q&A, Prof. I lived in San Jose from "59 to '99, from 5yo to 45. An ex-roommate of mine had Sharks season tickets along with a friend who he would trade off with to take a guest to every other game, so I saw every other home game the first year at the Tank. The next year, 1994 playoffs, my ex-roommate surprised me with his Game 6 ticket and he watched it with my wife at home while I went to watch them beat the Red Wings to take it to Game 7 back in Detroit. Pretty much watched every game since...

Oof sounds like ur ex roommate was doing a little more than watching the game with your wife..

I'm in for the long haul. Was impressed with you pushing through a very difficult, honestly not fun year, for the Sharks and now we get to watch them on the upswing. It'll be a good journey.

Hey Professor, Been away for a few days so I was pleased to see the new video and even more interested by the format. Thanks for sharing man. Quebec Huh? Never would have guessed that. As the adage goes though: Loyalty over location. You are definitely a Sharks fan regardless. How is your French man? hahaha I am infinitely sure it is better than mine! Cheers Pete Clovis, CA

Great video professor. What’s your realistic expectation for the SJS?

I came from a place with no NHL team but a minor league team that I would enjoy going to see. So when I moved to the Bay Area as a child back in like ‘97 I was stoked to be in an area with a local team to root for. I guess it never accused to me to root for an NHL than with out there being a local one haha

I’ve also been a fan since 2010. Also a question I have. With how hard it is to win today, in an expanding NHL, and the current state of the sharks. Do you think the sharks will ever win the Stanley cup in our lifetime? My mom was born a leafs fan in 1968 and is still waiting.
@professorhockey17 күн бұрын
It would be depressing to believe they won’t win a cup, so I like to think they will haha

What a better world it would be if the Sharks won in 2016 and Couture got the Conn Smythe.. the HBK line was our kryptonite, Vlasic and Braun had Crosby completely shut down. Kessel deserved the Conn Smythe way more than Crosby.
@professorhockey17 күн бұрын
I think they wanted to give Crosby a Conn Smythe in case they never won the cup again, so he could have at least 1 in his career. I agree that Kessel played a big role in beating the Sharks and should have probably won it.

i’ve enjoyed your perspective, but it’s got to be tough to draw impressions watching on tv. i actually touched on that previously on one of your earlier shows.

I know the last few years have been rough but I wouldn’t mind seeing 44 retired. By the end he’ll have played 20 years in San Jose and was elite for a good portion of that time. Especially if his career finishes as a 1 team player

@@caravaggiohs9020do you mean to retire vlasics number ?????
@Nucksy17 күн бұрын
@@JACdUpProductions I can think of several players that should be retired before Vlasic. Owen Nolan for one. Kunin should not be wearing 11.
