Definitely is a must, it just feels more satisfying and feels like Vincent/Red closing a chapter of their life with Hojos death.

Yeah the one thing I don’t like about the original is it’s easy to miss story beats if you randomly have the wrong party members when you trigger events.

Well, the TEMPORARY death of the shittiest man in the world. Hojo comes back in Dirge of Cerebus and I read somewhere that he has already made his digital incarnation from Dirge of Cerebus in the remake continuity. This is, unfortunately, NOT the end for Hojo.

Aside from the weapons, Sexyroth and Jenova Absolute, this is the fight I'm most looking forward to in part 3 of the Remake. I hope Hojo's end is brutal like falling off the scaffolding

I hope in part 3, when the party goes back to Midgar. Tifa, Barret and Yuffie fight against Scarlet and Heidegger while Cloud, Vincent and Red faces Hojo.

@RealCFZ you literally had the same thoughts as I did. The only party members missing were Cid and Cait so just thought it would be good to save Reeve since they're got better knowledge of Shinra HQ than most of the others, with the only possible exception being Vincent as a former Turk

Hojo died as he lived. Revolting Also, take notice how, unlike SOLDIERs, Hojo completely changed when he injected himself with Jenova Cells. He must have stuffed himself with as many cells as possible, without regard for what might happen to him, all in the name of science. That’s why I honestly think he is the most despicable villain I’m not just 7, but all of Final Fantasy.

I have a feeling he already knows. I noticed during the Nibelheim incident he really quickly shies away from the subject of who his father is after mentioning Jenova is his mother’s name. Well, even if he doesn’t know Hojo is his biological father he’s still the man who raised Sephiroth so he’s still the closest thing Sephiroth’s got to a father.

@@cathygrandstaff1957 I say Glenn taken the father figure role due to how he is in Ever Crisis. Glenn been more of a father to Sephiroth than anyone has been. Of course Hojo set the bar to rock bottom to begin with.

So Hojo gets injected by Jenova cells, becomes an apparently monstrous life form, and then gets more stable, more "superior" looking. I guess this proves theres some truth in genes, and Sephiroth didn't become so strong and "perfected" for no reason.

I always keep remedy towards the top of my inventory at the end of the game. It sucks to look for the right item during a fight.

Yup….. I wish I knew some of this stuff earlier. This fight could’ve been much shorter if I healed Tifa. I didnt even know that you could reorganize your inventory lol. I didnt even know you could run away from battles until I looked it up because I got mad about the shinra manor encounter rate
