Wow wow wow.. I have to listen to the whole show however he just said what I felt now that I am reading Quran on my own even though I am from Pakistan 🇵🇰. I am reading from critical context ! This is what my thought process has been that if prophets Mohammed ( pbuh) was narcissistic god forbid, he would have created a novel idea but he never claimed that ! He always respected and tried to remind of the old prophets ( pbuh ). He taught the utmost respect for them all and That’s why in so called third world Muslim population u will never find a single Muslim disrespectful to Moses ( pbuh) and Jesus ( pbuh), we don’t like making movies and images of any prophets and disrespect them!

Dear Paul and other followers: Few things I love to share with you, and please correct me if I am wrong. First: Allah SW clearly mentioned in Quran is that " There is no compulsion in religion), meaning, "Do not force anyone to become Muslim, for Islam is plain and clear, and its proofs and evidence are plain and clear. Therefore, there is no need to force anyone to embrace Islam. Second : a religion is a personal matter, i.e.: between the person and God , others has nothing to do with it. Third : some people may want to keep their real faith for themselves and do not want to clearly share it with others for some reason, this has to be fully respected. Fourth: Islam as Prof Tabor correctly said, is submitting to God, believing in all prophets ...Ebrahim, Isaac, Jacob, Mouses , Jesus and Muhamad Peace upon them all & Believing in Angels and a day of Judgement & and believing in all God’s holly books Torah ,Ingeel and Quran. According to this inshalla Prof. Tabor can be a Muslim and many be better Muslims than many people who claim to be Muslims and do not present the true Islam. Brothers and sisters ; God is the most merciful and most companionate and loves knowledge and loves people who work hard to spread true knowledge , HE , Allah SW by his unlimited mercy may accept us all as his beloved believers and ease our suffering and grant us all heaven. Dear Paul, a new great video again. Thank you very much for all these great videos ! Il would like to correct some wrong statements of Professor James D. Tabor. Never ever, The Quran or Muhammed ﷺ, said that the jews are "the chosen people" or "the people of god", never. The Quran uses the word "Faddal", which means ziyadah (give more), Allah gave the children of Israel more than he gave to other people, which is different than "choosen people", or "most beloved people". And this is why Allah warn the Children of Israel, that he will punish them more than other because they were give more (miracles, prophets,...). And several passage in the Quran put this in light. And concerning the name of the religion (Islam), of course, it has this meaning of submission, and this is not new, on the contrary, it is like you said, the continuity of the submission of all past community and their prophet. BUT the name of the religion, ISLAM, is explicitly mentionned in the beginning of Surat al Maida (5th) : " This day those who disbelieve have despaired of [defeating] your religion; so fear them not, but fear Me. This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favor upon you and have approved for you Islām as religion. " And in Surah Family of Imran (3) : "Indeed, the religion in the sight of Allah is Islām." And again in Surah Family of Imran (3) : "And whoever desires other than Islām as religion" And I can quote other passages if you want.

Extremely profound and a point that is missed by most of the people. Christians and Jews need to look at the crux of the matter, what did God intend for Abraham and his descendants? In another words, Islam message is the same message that god had revealed to all his previous messengers and prophets. The core belief in one god - the same god - was what all other prophets were asked to promote. It is the instinctive built in believe that every human being is born with, before his/her parents convert him/her and interfere, and before Satan and his Jund thrives to astray those people during their lives. So one argues, that islam brought new laws different from others, but god reveals the same unchanged core message to all his prophets but with different laws for each prophet that are in essence the same with minor changes. He does that for several reasons. Later on with every new prophet. Allah abolishes - yansakh in arabic the formal laws and make it obsolete. Finally with the final message of Muhammed PBUH, he expect from us to follow those new rules and submit to him by following them. * Also the previous laws were subject to editing and change during the last times, but definitely not the islamic.

i lived in bangladesh for a long time , i saw people there , many of them are ignorant about religion , specially women . Thats y , anti Muslim group , christian missionary , extreme hindu groups target them . Then why most of the people call them Muslim , because they just follow what their forefathers followed about religion . They accept religion from traditional point of view , even many atheists pray Eid prayers together , they perform fasting in Ramadan with other people , they do it due to tradition . It is funny but reality is like this . Few are exceptional , who are learned person , they have deep knowledge about Islam . Actually Knowledge is divine , educational background or being scientist does not mean , he is a knowledge person . We can say , he is a skillful person on specific subject . Knowledge is universal subject .

Muhammed was not a prophet of El-Elohe-Israel. He was a prophet unto himself. Jesus prophesied against persons like him 600 years before. You are not saved by good deeds more than bad. None of your muslim righteousness is good enough to undo the bad of the sins you have committed. Jesus sacrifice of Himself is the only sufficient means of blotting out the bad. Don't wait till the resurrection to get this free gift of Christ.
