If the Russians suspended the flow of gas to Europe, they would have to pay a fine for non-compliance with the contract. Therefore, it would be easier for them to blow up Nordstream. No fine, no gas for Europe. Of course, the announcement of Biden and the tarnishing of the name of the USA. Win Win Win situation. Yes, Putin suspended the flow of gas to Europe due to sanctions. And Europe was not the first to cut off gas.

I ADMIRE Dr. Sachs for his unwavering courage and love for mankind His entire career as an economist has been about sustainable and humane policies that lift everyone up not just the rich More recently he became vocal about the devastating impact of war on humanity While everyone took millions of dollars to look the other way, Dr Sachs spoke openly about the illegal invasion and destruction of Syria as well as of the most horrific genocide in Yemen He is among a few good men and women who have the courage to stand up for the little guy and for the environment. Am absolutely in awe at his willingness to use his platform of a Nobel Prize winner and as a global celebrity (if I may say so) to speak truth to power Every gov leader ought to be ashamed by how cowardly they all look compared to him. As a human and as a long time BIG fan of his entire work, I am so grateful for this intervention bc it should send shock waves to the UN security counsel if they want to stay relevant they must do their job and call the destruction of the pipeline a terrorist act that must be punished. The Russian Federation carried out the Nord Stream "incident" (and they quite obviously benefited) as an "objective" in their "special military operation." The United States of America would not benefit from such an "incident" (and evidence does not support such a claim).
