Another thing that seems to be a continuing issue (that we can really see here on display) is the defense attorney not really having a good grasp as to when to come in heavy and when to be softer with a witness on the stand. If Jeff was more surly or evasive it might have been ok. But here he was pretty even, open, and polite. I think the attorney was mad that he couldn't get this quashed and took it out on the witness...in the process looking like an out of control bully with nothing to offer.

Professor Lacasse has been a great witness during all these trials. What bad luck he met that woman. Imagine having to need to get therapy because you dated Wendi. I believe his testimony. It’s natural to be upset that you were set up and strung along for months. However, a person like Jeff would not perjure himself for those two reasons. I’m sure he feels bad enough he didn’t go to the police. He’s not evil and Wendi told him Charlie’s plan was from last summer. We have to admit that Wendi does have a hypnotic effect on the make species. Yes, this was a chess game. She used subtle manipulation techniques rather than out and out requests so she could keep her hands clean and later on claim plausible deniability. She played each family member and paramour like a fiddle. This will get harder to do as she ages and loses her good looks and sex appeal. The strongest evidence against Charlie was the wiretaps. Those were KILLER. Same story with Donna. I haven't heard ANY wiretaps with Wendi on them. Do they exist? It's impossible to believe they didn't have her phone tapped just before the bump. If there are no incriminating wiretaps on Wendi, or other inculpating evidence we're unaware of, I don't see the state charging Wendi. Also, I'm SHOCKED, SHOCKED, SHOCKED that Donna discussed her travel Vietnam plans with Charlie on WHAT SHE KNEW was a monitored call. Jeez, could she at least have told him she was flying Nov. 20 -- then promptly flown out on Nov. 13.

If people remember charlie asked his mom what wendy needed for her knew home?. The mom said a t.v.. that was a lie. She never needed a t.v. the t.v was bought for windys alabie. Wendy broke the t.v and the boy friend was getting the meds for her tummy. wendy didn't need a t.v. She had one that worked in the back room. She needed that t.v to stay there to be fixed bye the repair giy the next day. This was her alibi. All these things are coming out and when windy qas escorted to the police station she said allot of things she shouldnt of had. Wendy on the stand is completely a different person. I don't see why they haven't arrested her cause I see all sorts of lies she has done. There are a few times where charlie say wendy had nothing to do with it. She did a good job of not talking about it and not being recorded like charlie was. U can tell wendy is 100 the one who set it up. She knows the prosacution knows she did it 2.
