in my opinion first one is the most adventurous sounding one, the second is the most epic sounding, the third is the most melancholic, the fourth is more of a mixture of the first three, the fifth is the most mysterious and the sixth is, like the fourth, a mixture of all those that came before it because there are clear elements from each in the song

Yeah, more or less. Though, for me the most melancholic is the fifth one. Especially because when I hear it, I picture images of Hershel's past in the game and it's like the theme starts with Hershel in the present and then goes into his memories. Happy times but then Randall's death happens and it ends really sad. It's one of my favourites, a bit short but really good.

It's a tie for me, between Pandora's box and Lost Future. Lost Future will always win me story and emotion wise, but Pandora still had those things, along with the most killer puzzles and immersion of story e.g. Train ticket puzzle, travelling by train, introduction to Inspector Chelmley and the whole who's who ordeal [first Flora isn't who she is, then Baron comes back, and then it turns out the whole place WAS IMAGINARY and the character we all met didnt exist at all]. But yeah, its a tie for me, I will always feel stronger feeling for lost future as a story and adventure, but I cant deny my equally great experience with Pandora.

All of the professor layton soundtrack goes to show that the most beautiful instruments can also create scary, fast paced and exciting songs. The layton soundtrack through all the games (and even the movie) will give me goosebumps every time! if you want to listen to one of my favourites, search for song of the sea, stars and the sun: song of ambrosia. Calming, soothing and all around so beautiful, and the ending of the song is really exciting for some reason, it's so awesome! This opinion comes from a guy who for most of the time only listens to metal and rock!

Started at Pandora’s box, didn’t play lost future and spectre’s call because I didn’t have the money to buy it, then grew up and with my own money I bought a 3ds and miracle mask. I remember I was so happy and that game made me cry so so much. Then I bought azran legacy at the day of launch and I finished it in 2 days, of course so sad that it would end like this. Still my favourite games, for personal reference after watching gameplays of the ones I haven’t played are 1) lost future 2) miracle mask 3) Pandora’s box 4) last spectre 5) azran legacy 6) curious village Also I miss Layton and Luke so much i feel sick lmao

I've been playing Professor Layton games since I was in third grade, and I only recently beat Azran Legacy (the latest game). I didn't appreciate the music back then, of course, but as I've gotten older, I can't stop listening to it. Such amazing pieces, as well as amazing gameplay!

4 is my favorite actually, It feels the most complex to me, the piano solos are amazing and the voilin part sound impossible to actually do. I mean they're so rediculously FAST.

It's a great composition, but I don't like it too much because it's so long. It starts great, but I feel like it drags a lot. But overall it's got, I love the violin.

I like the unwound/lost future one the best. It's the title that got me into Professor Layton years ago. This one is iconic to me.

I will leave a message here, because someone told me that a true gentleman never leave without posting a comment and liking. Unlike many people here, I didn't have childhood memories about that game because... I played 2 of the games within the last 4 months (I think I will start the other ones by now) But yeah, theses games are amazing, the story made me travel in these worlds (I played at the Curious Village and Lost future) I'm mid-way in Pandora's box, and I'm not disappointed about it. I saw a true gentleman never leaves a video without liking and posting a comment, so here I am I haven't played all of the professor Layton games but I am planning to buy them, the 3 I have played(pandora's box, lost future and Spencer's call) have given me entertainment for hours during the long car rides on vacation, I just love the games so much, the music, the visuals, the storytelling everything! Lost future is my favourite for now but I cant wait till I can buy the other 3 parts and be amazed by the story! Ah loving this! Being a Layton fan from the start I enjoy listening. My favorite game must be The Lost Future because I just loved the story, and I think it was the most emotional one. I have played all of them except for the newest two, but I am getting them soon!
