for sq. matrices 1:52 vector (vertical) 2:15 3:11 to add / subtract matrices, they must hv same dimensions (same no. of rows & columns). 5:40 add is commutative but sub is NOT .

u can also add another column & row of zeroes in 2x2 matrix to make it 3x3 & then add it to 3x3

As i knew angle is the openess between the two rays then don't that change if we move far from the vertex??
@Syntaxxed3 ай бұрын
Linear algebra teacher asked us to forget everything we learned in highschool about vectors lol

Sir(literally a childish question but plz don't care)don't the angle change if we move away from vertex as the space between the rays increases?
@ProfessorDaveExplains6 жыл бұрын
i'm not sure i understand the question, you mean does the angle change if you move the location? no that wouldn't change the angle.

Sir what's the difference between a vector and a matrix?Are all matrices vectors? (Literally waiting for your videos on vector space my mind messed up with all the stuff on vectors due to lack of clarity)so plzz help me as a fellow being

Before getting into limits is it necessary to know about functions? If yes why?
@ProfessorDaveExplains6 жыл бұрын
well yeah you should definitely know about functions before getting into calculus, that should be covered in algebra. check out my algebra tutorials, i have lots!

Why cannot the curve be differentiable at sharp points sir?
@ProfessorDaveExplains6 жыл бұрын
it's not a continuous curve!
@carultch Жыл бұрын
Because there is an abrupt change in what the derivative is, on both sides of the sharp point. So kinks and cusps are not differentiable, because you get conflicting answers for what the derivative is, depending on which side you approach the sharp point. The discontinuity in the derivative means it is not differentiable.
