Jimmy Carter: Successes and Failures Abroad (1977 - 1981)

Jimmy Carter was the last Democrat to win the South, given that he had served as Governor of Georgia. Most of the major events during his presidency were centered on foreign affairs, specifically the Middle East. Some went well, some not so well. What were these events and how did he handle them?
