I know this video is about logarithmic functions, but those bicep GAINZ have been exponential!

Professor Leonard, thank you for reviewing and Graphing Logarithms with Transformations. The teaching style is just off the learning charts and KZbin is the place where real teachers teach.

Professor Leonard, a huge appreciation from the opposite side of the world, South Korea. I have done well on my quizzes and tests on calculus 3 because of your lecture! I was looking into your differential equations lectures and saw that there are still a few contents missing. Are you planning on covering the rest of differential equations contents? Thank you for your great commitment!

Thats amazing congratulations. In South Korea do you do exams in English?

For anyone looking for a third key point for logs, I've been using (1/a, -1) and it really simplifies things for me! ETA: and of course you can use its inverse, (-1, 1/a) for exponentials!

g(x) = 3 - 2log(x + 1) = -2 log(x+1) + 3 = log(x+1)^(-2) + 3 but the graphs of these are different why is that so?
@therandomperson9627 Жыл бұрын
they aren’t equal. looking at the rules for logarithms the -2log(x+1) would be equivalent to -2log((x+1)^2). since the difference between both equations in the -2 exponent outside the log or inside the log makes the difference.
