People deserve privacy, to reveal their trauma on their own terms, it was heartbreaking to watch that be taken away from Derek.
@DorvellTStewart6 ай бұрын
Sadly, that isn't how it works; sometimes, like in this episode, circumstances force you to face it even though you may not want to and because he was able to show James the latter wasn't alone, Karl finally went down.

The 1 thing that pisses me off is that the cop who had been persecuting Morgan never even apologized for what he had done. He was so busy trying to pin it on Derek that he couldn't see that the real villain was right in front of him!!! Hope he was fired or at least investigated for his conduct (someone that narrow-minded doesn't deserve to be a cop).

To all who don’t know, the cop returns seasons later. Carl Buford comes up again in a case about another boy he molested. That episode, the cop actually apologizes to Morgan. I just watched this episode a few days ago, so that’s the only reason I remember this. It’s season 8, episode 18 (Restoration).
@crystallizedfaith3 жыл бұрын
Also, I am aware this is an older comment (and the author of the comment probably already saw the episode I just mentioned), so I just left this reply here in case anyone else was thinking about the cop.

This is one of my favorite episodes throughout the show. It showed a side of Derek that none of us expected. He has been through so much. Knowing this shows us that after everything he endured from his father’s death to Carl all the way up to being in the FBI that all Derek wanted to do is stop men like Carl and much more from doing evil in the world. Thanks for uploading. ❤️❤️

This episode is so important. People often ask 'One person says something now everyone is saying something? Seems suspicious...' They come forth because in that one act of bravery, they know they arent the only one, someone is there to fight the fight with them. Speaking Truth can be brutal, it's so important to understand the need for a support system. Not everyone is brave enough to do it alone. Predators count on that.

Hotch's eyes following Buford as he's led away is a powerful detail. Gideon is already looking at Derek, looking forward, trying to offer support. Hotch looks like, for all his moral principles, he's thinking of hurting Carl very badly. It's a nice prelude to Hotch's less rational side, which we see with Foyet. Hotch told Elle that he'd arrest her in a second if he had evidence of her taking the law into her own hands, but I think Aaron wished he could in this scene.
@melarie2052 жыл бұрын
Elle really deserved better tho, hotch killed Foyet with his bare hands and he was still in the position of chief and when Elle did it she had to leave

it's so sad what happens to young children. i dont understand why adults would want to do such a thing to a child. they dont understand that it messes the child up for life if the child doesnt decide to fight what he/she has been through. i'm so glad that morgan was able to face his fear...it was a great episode and i actually teared up...again great episode...

"You could've said no." That's one of the most insidious aspects. The child feels guilty afterward because they didn't say no. But in the moment, they're terrified and don't even know that it's possible to say no.

This is such a powerful epidsode. It took a lot of strength and courage for Morgan to allow himself to relive the pain of being abused. After his confrontation with Beuford he looked that it was over. My heart always breaks when I watch this episode because they were so many scenes after he was arrested where the pain was obvious and he just needed someone to hug him and tell him everything was going to be okay. Morgan could definitely have used his baby girl Penelope's support in this one!

You are on the right track. It is the tale of two law firms and the detectives that work for them. It isn't hard to figure out the cable man that installed the cable at Peter's. It was the same man at Verizon. The same man went to Ashelynn's school when she was about eight, or nine. It was the same man that was seen at the condo in Lake Nona. They are working for the same company that followed us on the airplane, Campbell Detective agency. That agency appears on the paperwork from both attorney houses, fact not fiction. They moved directly on top of the last condo and we have the evidence. They broke into the condo looked for sticks and servers and were captured on independent cameras. The uploads are being fed on a live KZbin channel which is not what KZbin was designed for, a problem. It has become so aggressive that decals/wraps are being used in attempts to further their endeavors. In plain English, the con game is and has been exposed. James owns the security company in Washington and various employees were paid 12000 a week to stalk and harass various individuals by the Scientology group, fact not fiction. The Post Office rep is under heavy suspicion ,as well as, the doctors themselves. They boarded an airplane and that is when it became federal, not state jurisdiction.

Ah yes, because he owes it to his co-workers to tell them about his traumatic experiences when it only affects him. You do realise the relationship he has with those people isn't friendship? Calling them so is unprofessional. You can't fire people for what happens in their personal life.
