We do it in our local lakes and always try to get the discs back to their owners, no name and numbers are the bonus and when you sell them it pretty much pays for your efforts

I was pretty skeptical watching this vid. I was worried you sold all of them! My policy if I find a disc, if it's got a name and number, always make an effort to give it back to the owner. If not, I'm keeping it! Way to go guys!

Disc golf is an incredibly fun sport! I'd say on the low-end plastics discs cost around $6-10 and more premium plastics go up to on average around $15-25. If you're looking for some disc golf content to watch I'd recommend Jomez Productions for their professional coverage, and Paul Ulibarri recently did a "Scratch to Scratch" series on teaching someone brand new to disc golf! I hope you enjoy your journey getting into this wonderful sport!

Be careful selling discs that have people's names and numbers on them. Only reason I'm saying this is because someone was charged with selling someone else's property here where I live, a year or so ago. Some guy dove in a lake at one of our local courses and found a bunch of discs then put them up for sell online. One of the locals noticed some were his and filed a case and the judge actually sided with him. Even if it's lost in a lake, it still does not become your property to sell if you find it. Not sure what the laws are where you guys are, just giving the story of what happened here. Just a heads up is all. :)

Let's be honest if you throw your disc in the water you don't go get it then it belongs fully the guy who goes in and gets it.. I am a disc golfer and feel discs found on land should be returned and discs in water are owned by the person who goes in and gets it.. just my opinion probably not a popular opinion but you knew when you threw it in that you walked away from it..

Congratulations! What you are doing is commonly referred in the disc golf community as being a ‘Squid’. I’m not saying anything you are doing is illegal, but there’s sorta this unwritten rule in disc golf that you don’t sell discs you find regardless of contact info or not. Donate the spares to a local school or club. Some folks will throw you a few bucks to get their discs back. But actively scouting ponds to go dive in to find discs with the full intention of reselling them is a REALLY good way to get your ass kicked on the course. No BS, be prepared to get socked if the wrong person catches you doing this
