The light that comes out of all profoto lights is beautiful but these A2’s are a POOR effort, they are not strong enough, the Godox 100 is almost 2 times as powerful the A10 is more powerful, They fall out if the soft box and to NOT TELL YOUR AUDIENCE THAT IS SAD… Creators have to stop saying what these companies want to hear so they get the next product sent to them. YOUR AUDIENCE IS WHY YOU ARE HERE ❤

I am pro videographer and thought the same thing. Photos are meah and the way he holds that soft box pointing above the subject is questionable.

You can't expect a good outcome when the person shooting the photos to demonstrate how good the flash is starts off by saying he's short on time. Then he was talking and moving so quickly that I began feeling anxious watching this video. And....the photos were not good quality, which is what you would expect from a rushed "photo shoot". Not a good representation of this Profoto flash, and as others mentioned earlier, I too have been reading that that $1,000 light falls out of the softbox. I'm not a Profoto basher. I own several B10s and an A1X. My only complaint (other than the prices) is the pins on the A1X (Sony) hot shoe. They get bent very easily, making the flash inoperable when mounted on the camera's hot shoe. I have to send mine away for service after very little use.

Totally agree Ken. The pins are always getting damaged. I bought a godox flash and only use that on camera now.

Most situations did not require flash at all imo - the light could be narrowed in a postprocess easily. I know that it was mostly about the product presentation, but most of the photos were really poor, harsh light. Of course the reason most probably being is a small, shallow softbox. We can't obey the physics :-) I don't bash Profoto here - we do own A1 and B10. But for quite some time I have also assisted during the weddings using Elinchrom ELB400 + Deep Octa 100cm - the results would be a night and day .... mostly because of the softbox quality ....

I have the A2 and the Clic Softbox. I took it to my recent trip to The Philippines. It performed flawlessly. I have videos on my channel.

The beam angle is much wider on A2 when compared to A10. That’s where the impression comes from.

@@khttim it was demonstrated by more than one people on KZbin that no matter a2 and a10 were used, the a10 produced almost a full stop more power

It works with any Profoto Air Triggers, that includes the small Profoto Connect that looks like a button.

Horrible photos, now I understand why he also uses a film camera, the photos are so bad that they remind me of photos from 2 decades ago

Its just not powerful enough. It needs to be at least 200W to use a softbox. I use 250w B10s all the time and wish they were even smaller but its just physics i guess. I would buy a A2 if they bring out a 200W version.
