Oh, second correction I can make about one of his videos, chimps are actually about 2 times as strong as the average human according to the latest studies. Gorillas are 8 times as strong, but as he says in the video, at least you can do something to not die when it comes to gorillas if you have enough self control even if there's no a meter+ deep water around you. Also, baby elephants are cute though, and adult elephants can be cute as well.

@jss13283 жыл бұрын
By "take," do you mean just put up some type of fight (not win)? Because a tiger would easily be a able to take down a cougar (a lion would be a fairer but still not fair match). They are pound for pound stronger but it doesn't mean much. An extreme but applicable analogy would be how a beetle is pound for pound hundreds of times stronger than a human but a human is still stronger in general. Just like a tiger is generally still stronger than a cougar. But cougars are still no joke. Sorry for writing so much over something so small.

Downwind means if the wind is blowing from the West you want to be standing on the east side of the Elephant so the wind does not blow your scent towards it. Upwind is the exact opposite of being downwind. So you always want animals to be upwind of you when you arr out in the wild so they are less likely to realize you are there.

Elephants evolved to fear humans. We used to herd them off cliffs and eat them so on some level most elephants fear humans. It's similar to the evolutionary fear humans have to snakes/amphibians. Tons of people over human history were killed by snake bites so we fear them. We can overcome the fear but it's still there.
