I just got back from the dealer and paid three hundred and twenty eight dollars for them to do this. And today I went to start my car and it's not detecting it again. So I paid them for nothing. I could have bought what you have right there.

This is not a challenger and is not a push button start so it is very misleading!!!

If someone has two good working fobs why would someone need a 3rd. Sounds like the customer gets hosed as soon as one fob is lost or broke

If you have 2 working fobs you can buy a replacement for about $30 and you don't need the Simple Key programmer. So having a third makes life easier in the event you lose one or one fails. Then you have another key right away and only need to buy a $30 replacement. If you have only one key you need to spend $120+ for the programmer. Yes the dealerships love it when people come in for this. They charge you a few hundred dollars and then have you done in 20 minutes, plus 10 minutes of talking, so a total of 30 minutes. That's like $400 per hour! And then they make it seem like they're hardly getting by.

What if you only have the original key, No fob key

kinda screwed!!! Don't lose that key. but it may reprogram without the benefit of using the remote to lock and unlock the doors. Not sure if will work though...

All these places selling programmable replacements , but all of them say if you have Push To Start they won't work?.. so stuck paying hundreds at the dealer

Mine is pushed to start and it won't detect mine. I can't unlock my doors it doesn't work. It only works when I put it in the dash after I pull out the push to start button. I just paid them three hundred and twenty eight dollars and it failed again.

I put a link in here for you and it says Challenger... Maybe you ordered the wrong key there are a few different simple keys for different vehicles.
