me gusto mucho tu video. te felicito gracias por esos tips. tengo un nano y vcm2 pero es de una placa , ya compre uno de doble placa para poder usarlo. tengo versiones v112.04 ,v121 y la v129. pero no lo he podido hcer funcionar. justo ese error es el que me da me llama la atencion de que el pin 13 ocupa voltaje mayor 18.V. me he puesto a trabajar en este caso, tu video me inspiro e investige. hoy ya se porque era esa mi falla. probare de nuevo. quiero pensar que el eqiuipo azul es el que subministra los 18v y lo mandas al pin 13 de la caja de desconeccion. muchas gracias.

I thought that IDS can only be used with the OEM Ford VCM 2. And FJDS with aftermarket J2534 devices. But I see that you're using IDS with an aftermarket device(NANO). Is that possible? I have a Nano too but I've never tried it. I use FJDS with an Autel J2534 pass-thru. But sometimes I wish I could use IDS. FJDS does only programming but IDS does programming AND diagnostics. I've never tried to use IDS with my Autel aftermarket tool. Great video BTW.

Yes, this is full online latest version of IDS, as in video latest calibration downloads from servers.. this version works great with nano.

BTW the vcx nano emulates the ford vcm.. that's how it works..

There is no advantage. This is how it's done using vcx nano which is a $100 J2534 interface vs a $1500+ j2534 interface. Also this is an online full version with full programming as seen in video for VCX NANO, link in description..

I have a 2014 Silverado that doesn’t have navigation, my friend has a 2016 with the 2.5 hmi with navigation. They say the hmi modules are vin locked what programmer would unlock the vin

Yes they are, depending on what you want to do with the module, install a used hmi in your 2014?

I have not installed the hmi yet. I’m trying to find out how I would be able to change the vin lock on the hmi. The 2.5 hmi is off a 2016 z71 with navigation. My truck is a 2014 LT Silverado.
