Hey man, thanks for the video! How would you periodize those" gym and field" sessions, (in-season period) if you have four 50- 80 min" soccer practices" during a week ? ( and a game every Sunday) I was thinking about 2-3 days gym, and probably 1- máx 2 field per week. Keep the great work!

Great question. Field session can undulate by doing 1 session focused on acceleration, heavier sled pulls, and longer plyos. The other can focus on max velocity speed, light sleds, and faster plyos. Gym sessions can undulate too by performing one higher rep session and one lower rep session. Main thing is to not exceed recovery capacity with so much in season training

Great video. I honestly am not a big fan to have peak time periods during in season. Probably bc i was used to work with young folks and i would aim for the long run. But putting that aside do you think, for strengh generalists coachs, that having a peaking period is truly necessary? Mainly in season

since making this video, I have changed my approach to strength & conditioning for athletes. I dont think it is really necessary to implement a peaking phase - at least not in the way it was demonstrated in this video
